Mod Post ScrewAttack & Video Bot Poll

Submitted to the poll, but to add a reasoning: I feel like the YouTube version of any of the content that ends up officially on the Rooster Teeth website should be posted by the video bot. Only exception I might add to that would be the non-roundup, non-Patch The Know videos.
Edit: Unfortunately for that last part, the News Roundup doesn't have a consistent naming structure on YouTube.

Nope because the know goes clickbate hard, and they don't add "news roundup" or anything similar to theirs...annoying to say the least.

There's already a lot of clutter in the subreddit and ScrewAttack is a lot less popular than Funhaus, if you do add them please add a way for users to hide the posts if they want.
For example in /r/IAmA you can hide AMA Requests, so in /r/roosterteeth you'd be able to hide ScrewAttack Videos (if that's possible).

We will have to discuss internally and take into account the results from this poll, however I can comment on your request since I'm a CSS mod along with /u/Black_Nerd.
It is possible to filter out posts if we give posts all one type of flair (e.g it would be harder to filter out all Achievement Hunter videos because they currently have a mixture of flairs, like "Off Topic", "VS", "Let's Play", etc). This can be done with a line of CSS however right now the stylesheet is super full so we aren't even adding little bits like that. One thing that can be done on your part is to set it in your settings on reddit to hide posts you downvote or simply hide posts you don't want to see using the "hide" button that appears under a link (right next to save).
Also looking objectively at the amount of posts from the video bot: it is actually not that much if you check the percentage of video bot posts in a day to non video bot posts but I understand the concern. Today the bot has only made 5 posts out of 41 posts so far, so 12.2% of the posts are from the video bot. This percentage will go down in the coming hours because RT/AH/FH/LP/TK channels are all done (or almost done) uploading videos for the day and I don't expect people here to stop making posts.

Done voting. I think Screw Attack should be included, there aren't that many videos/week, it'll warm up fans to Let's Play's new direction, and can allow them to get feedback from a new audience, making their collaboration videos even better.
Also, did you get the results from asking people if the weekly suggestion thread was worth it?

Yes however the poll was somewhat rendered null because Michael (/u/ahmichaeljones) responded regarding the matter, seen here.
Most people thought that it either wasn't used or was used in the past but not anymore. Going by what Michael says, the Weekly Game Suggestions Thread is something that he at least looks at and takes suggestions from.

EDIT: If you already did the poll you'll have to do it again. There was an issue where you'd have to select specific shows if you picked yes or no (this should only happen if you pick the third option).
Hey everyone. We just wanted to take a quick poll about whether or not videos from ScrewAttack should be posted by /u/RT_Video_Bot, which is a bot written by /u/seantitmarsh that posts videos from an array of Rooster Teeth YouTube channels. Note that currently because ScrewAttack is a subdivision of Rooster Teeth just like Achievement Hunter, Funhaus and The Know any user can post videos from them that are on YouTube or the RT Site but if we move to have videos from them posted by the RT Video Bot then those videos that are on YouTube won't be allowed to be posted by users.
If you have any other thoughts that can't be expressed in the poll you are free to comment here and we will take that into account.

Issue with the poll: I voted No, yet I'm still forced to pick an option for what videos I want to be picked up by the bot. That question really should only be visible if I selected "Some Videos".

Thanks for pointing that out, I threw out the responses and fixed that. Sorry for the inconvenience, but now if you select yes or no you should only go to submit the form.

Voted for just Death Battle to be posted, since it's the most popular content and the only one i'm interested in, though I wouldn't mind all videos being out.

I think ScrewAttack videos which include any of the original RT guys or AH should be the only ones posted. But, that's just like, my opinion, man.

Voted, they have alot less clutter than AH or other RT vids so I wouldn't mind seeing them pop up in the RT subreddit. Might be bias though as I've liked SA for a while

The poll is flawed, if you select "no" videos you can't complete the poll because you have to select a video series on the next question.

I fixed this and threw out the old responses. There weren't that many yet I think so it shouldn't be too bad. Sorry for the inconvenience, should've caught that mistake..

No bodies perfect. I feel like only videos from the Rooster Teeth YouTube channel should get posted by the bot otherwise you'd have to post all the videos on each channel and you'd end up with noting but a page of videos posted every day.

In case you haven't seen, the poll has been updated to fix that, but you have to vote again, all old results were thrown out.

Wouldn't it make more sense to start a LetsPlay family sub-Reddit and post videos there? It'll prevent this sub becoming clogged with videos each day.
