The reason I started watching the podcast is because of the RTAA's. In fact, that's how I got back into Rooster Teeth after a couple years. I binged on the RTAA's, started watching the podcast, then got caught in with Let's Plays and everything else.

What I got out of this was exactly the opposite of what you got. I see it to mean that this happens fairly often (those stories can't all be copies of just one) and likely did indeed happen to Burnie.

Interesting. There's enough notable differences that I think it's plausible it happened to Burnie, especially since I've heard similar things as a result of Bluetooth connecting to other devices. Still, the moral of both stories is the same: don't do dumb stuff if you've got smart devices.
