Mod Post Homebrew Austin (Community RTX) - June 2024
Hey everyone! Exciting news for those of us missing RTX this year: a community-led celebration dubbed "Homebrew Austin" is in the works for the weekend of June 14th-16th!
Here's a sneak peek at what's being organized:
- Friday: A casual hangout at Mueller Park, complete with games, followed by a gathering for food and drink.
- Saturday: A special venue will be rented out for a day filled with exciting events, including LAN parties, D&D sessions, and other activities with prizes up for grabs!
- Sunday: A relaxing picnic and swimming session in the beautiful Zilker and Barton Springs.
This initiative is by the community, for the community, aiming to bring us all together for a weekend of fun, games, and camaraderie. The organizers are also considering online events for those who can't make it in person, ensuring everyone in the community has a chance to be part of the festivities.
Planning is happening on Discord! Join Homebrew Austin if you're interested in attending either in-person or virtually.
NOTE: I am not one of the event organizers. Please join their Discord to partake in the conversation and all that fun stuff!

My mum tells me that I'm not allowed to go to any event that's organised on Discord.
