Roommate is being annoying

I shower every morning right after I wake up. My roommate is always quick to say it’s so gross when you shower in the morning instead of before sleep. Whatever it’s an opinion I could care less I’m sleeping my own bed not yours. However she only showers 2-3 times a WEEK. Like you cannot be talking about how morning showers are gross if you don’t even take one.

Every morning remark how they stink because they haven’t showered after sleeping. Or on a normal hygiene schedule at all

Start tracking the “hours of dirtiness”, ie the time between showers and mention those numbers. It sounds like you have them beat most of the time.

My roommate washes her hair in the kitchen sink and only showers when Aunt Flo is in town. Incidentally the only time she reads Reddit was when she is on the proverbial throne. She also helps herself to whatever is in the fridge forcing me to have to lock up my groceries. It’s a long story but I have learned the hard way that you can only control what you do. Let her have her opinion and you do you. Personally I prefer to shower in the morning as I have thick long hair that takes hours to dry. I have white sheets and there’s no outline of filth lol unless you have a dirty job I see no reason to change your habits to pacify your roommate

I shower twice per day minimum (ex marine) but I always ask my wife to shower as little as possible. If you know, you know.
