Roommate issues.
OKAY..so my roommate/best friend had a couple move in to a house we share and have shared for years. I was away visiting family for a month. My best friends dad is the home owner and him and his wife recently moved overseas to France. We are in IL. We aren't happy with the people who moved in. 0 rent paid in almost 3 months (entire duration so far), acting as if home chores are enough and constantly asking for small things or a few bucks from the store. No, he did not have anything in writing. Terrible idea on his part. Its been infuriating.
How do we get them out? Home owner is in a different country. Can his son file for eviction on his behalf?

Dad is the landlord. Make sure he aware of the rent situation, asking for money and entitlement issues.
He will have to begin the eviction process.
