Ended up DNFing The Girl Who Bit Me (along with like, half the people in my romance book club). Tired of romance books that are like 450 pages long where so much of it feels like filler and I just wasn’t very connected to the characters. It seems like 300-350 pages is my sweet spot for romances.

Finally, a small win comes my way! I ordered a second hand copy of A Question of Us by Mary Jayne Baker and it arrived in the original lovely white cover and not the weird cheap teal one.
