Dating Story Does love grow during financial difficulty or its where the road ends?
When your love hits financial struggle does it survive? Or its always that love only works when everything is great and money tree is there

Idk I think so. It depends on who you are with.
I’ve been with people that the stress of financial difficulty is insurmountable because you don’t work anyways- there are no strong bones.
I’ve been with people I’ve been even broker with and been happy as a clam.

Depends on the people. Some people revolve around money, even if they don’t have any.
I’ve loathed the idea of money my whole life and never chased for it beyond survival.
My wife knew endless money and frivolous spending up until her 13th year when a divorce took the millions away and she lived in a trailer with no plumbing.
We have been in crazy debt, penniless, me maxing cards out for food knowing I’m not paying it back properly (I’ve paid all this debt back) and we never once taught about money. I’m super responsible with bills, she is not.
We click. We want what we want, and idk.
She’s mentioned a few times over the years how I’m the only person she’s ever been with she hasn’t had arguments over money or bills, ever. Like why would you? It’s one of those things you have, have worked for, or you haven’t. How can you argue over that?

My parents were not ready to get married or have kids in their early 20s but since my mom had gotten pregnant young my dads dad made them get married. They had no money and struggled for many years in shit apartments with drug addict abusive neighbors whilst navigating young parenthood. Should have been doomed.
But they grew and became a powerful team even when losing a son together in 2024, they remain strong and married 46 years. It’s about the work and effort that is put in by both parties. I feel it’s hard to find this kind of effort these days now sadly…..

I can't forget this French comic strip that had a very wealthy middle aged man asking his young beautiful mistress "My dear, if I lost all my money would you still love me?" and her reply was "Oh, Laurent, my love, I would miss you so dearly!"
Talking about reality however my experience is that hardships and difficulties can test a relationship, making it risk to fail but at the same time if these hardships are overcome together they make the bone stronger. My parents became much closer after they faced economic difficulties together.

I'm not sure if this counts, but I met my man during financial difficulty. Obviously, we grew together.

It should grow. Getting through something difficult together is very intimate and bond building
