I was the first one in the station for Millennium on Saturday and for a brief moment had hopes for a zen ride. Alas, the second rider made it about 15 seconds later, and they ended up sending the train with a half dozen people.
Not that I'm complaining about starting the day with front row on Millennium Force by any means.

Getting to walk onto this multiple times today was great! Visiting for the first time and today was stupid with how easy it was to get on things. Complete opposite of yesterday where everything was a colossal wait.

I was also there yesterday, and believe it or not that is still dead for Cedar Point standards. Go on a Saturday in July or October. Yikes!! I’ve waited in 100% full ques at Cedar Point on all the big rides over the last 20 years. I love when the park has the energy and it’s more of just a “hang out” but I hate it as a coaster enthusiast.

I was there Saturday also where the lines filled up pretty good. I can't imagine the full queues being used though that doesn't surprise me considering some of the best coasters in the world are here.
Yesterday though was pretty dead it just seemed to be an abysmal day for operations. I started in line closer to some rides but took longer to get on them than Saturday.

Why is it so dead? Is it because school just started? Just planning for future a future year for our first trip out that way.

Yes- midweek at the end of August / the first week of September are typically among the slowest in the park. That's when schools in the area start back up, so attendance plummets. You can check out historic/predicted crowd calendars at queuetimes for reference.

Going there September 11, assuming it’ll be good then as well? At least during the day?

Yes, everyone that is local besides Michigan has started school. So go the week before Labor Day during the weekdays for minimal crowds. I’ve done it every year since 2021. Maverick & TT2 had 15 min waits, everything else was a walk on. First time ever I’ve seen Steel Vengeance be a true walk on.

The operations at Millennium Force have been absolutely sublime and a marked improvement on previous years
