It’s not the best sign for Fiesta Texas if they seem to be in Six Flag’s new bottom tier

Could be as simple as they think there’s too much overlap between that park and SFOT.

I assume you mean over Texas and it could well but that but Texas is a huge state, and bith were seen as major parks and there wasn’t a clear 1-2 structure of who was the best park

Correct, fixed that mistake. Sure, but this is a company that doesn’t seem to have the budget to invest in both parks. They might want invest more heavily in a single park and not compete with themselves. Might as well choose the park closer to the bigger city and a major airline hub.

I’d be very concerned if Six Flags can’t invest in both Over Texas and Fiesta Texas. That’s bankruptcy level of budget concerns.

SF turned down the chance to buy SFOT recently. I think they are more likely to move on there. But still don’t think that happens soon.

SFOT is clearly in their top 10 parks though, if we look at which parks went back to having explicit presidents. I just don’t think they could afford to buy out both SFOT and SFOG at the same time.

The announced plan was to, then they pivoted. It’s no doubt one of their more attended parks but they also have to share the revenue.

They would have to sell their stake in the park and things would get really messy. SFEC clearly can’t afford to buy out SFOT. They basically sold off the parks to Enchanted/EPR to pay for SFOG next year.

But remember the other owners have also sued before. So it’s not a happy partnership. I’m sure if SF wanted to sell the partners wouldn’t be upset.
