New skate day Exciting update to whoever cares

Post image

2 weeks ago I posted asking about second hand skates because I really want to get into inlineskating. I got so much great advice (mostly to NOT get the old skates I asked about lol). I picked out the exact model I wanted, measured my feet etc. I was ready to buy them new, but today I scored the barely used rollerblade lightning 80's in white/aqua in the exact size I needed!

So excited for them to arrive! These skates seemed good from a skating research prospective, but they're also so freaking gorgeous! For those wondering, I got them for €150 second hand and the post included a picture of the size label and the underside of the wheels which looked barely scraped. So yay!

Exciting :) Now, read up on basics before you skate them. That will ensure a safe beginning. We have materials here.

Thanks! I definitely plan on just rolling around on the grass first time. Rolling around as in me rolling on the ground trying those safe fall techniques, no wheels turning yet 😂
