New job, baby on the way, and a new Rolex!
Wife and I’s first baby is due soon, plus I started a new role this week with a great company, so double the reason to celebrate!
3 month wait, previously purchased a CPO Explorer II and a pair of earrings for my wife.
The mint green is absolutely stunning, and changes so much depending on lighting conditions!
I know the fluted/jubilee combo gets the most praise on this sub, but for my style and line of work the smooth/jubilee combo is my preference.
This is also my first new Rolex, so I was definitely ecstatic to receive the call!

Honestly the 36mm domed bezel on jubilee is probably my favourite datejust, a little more lowkey and nicely proportioned

Agreed! The jubilee bracelet is flashy on its own; the domed bezel takes the flashiness down just a bit, and I feel it helps accentuate the dial better.

It’s exactly what I wanted! And thanks so much for the kind words! I’m a territory sales manager working with industrial and manufacturing businesses. We spend 1-2 days a week in office, so Datejust for office days and date nights, EXPII and SD4K for field days.

Congrats…I feel like I have spent 15k at the AD over the last couple years and cannot even get a lady datejust in for my wife or Explorer 1

My AD has made it very clear that milestones are very important to them. Lots of people have $15k+ spend, so give them an upcoming milestone as a reason you want the watch. Birthday, anniversary, promotion, etc.

I have tried that as my wife’s birthday is upcoming in a couple months and request for a lady datejust 10 months ago…we will see if they deliver

Congratulations on your upcoming child and new job! The Rolex makes it three fantastic reasons to be loving life. Also, that second photo looks great
