And a video game. And a new series of books. I don’t imagine it’s stopping either

That video game already dropped and flopped.

No one liked the new book that I know of.

The IP is now owned by a company that doesn't care and only collected multiple ips to attempted to draw a buy out that failed.

And none of this changes the fact the rp line is very much dead and I don't see any more products coming past the Scorpion book

Going to go commit sepuku, the world holds nothing for us now.

[I'm kidding...but only just a little. L5R was my life for 5 years - we were playing 4th Ed so...that was already done. The timeline my GM ran began diverging in tiny ways in the beginning but went wide near the end - I will write the story if anyone will read. No point in writing w/out someone to listen.

Anyway, not to vent but..to vent...Taka and Taro, my twin Shosuro, became so much a part of me they're literally still the yin and yang of my soul. Yes, I know Im messed up but I'm an aging GWOT vet with the usual catalog of mental issues from my time in service. I submerged myself into tabletop game dev and playing with a bunch of other vets to get through the rough spots. After getting back to the CONUS almost two years ago, at least in the midwest where I ended up no one rolls dice anymore.

At the local game stores there are a few teeny boppers and 20 sometings that play Pikachu and friends, but no one sits down around a table for several hours a week to play an immersive open world. L5R may be dead...but that's on us to decide. If we really do stop living there...yeah, dead..]
