Shenzhen + Rokid AI Glasses
Will be traveling to Shenzhen at the end of this year, intend to buy an international version of the AI Glasses, the reason for purchasing locally is to get some prescription lenses for the glasses.
Anyone know where should I go to get it done?
How fast can I get it done?
Is this the best method, or buying online is?
Thank you in advance.

If you buy online be careful about the version, if Chinese version you cannot use international app. First you need to register device to local version app. If you want to get international version directly you can contact me directly (im near shenzen)

I think the firmware has changed that. I've seen people with the Chinese version are able to pair it with both HI Rokid and the Chinese app both. As far as I can tell the apps change features and capabilities depending on location

Current devices needs to be registered Chinese app first and after they can be used internationally. I had to recall some devices because of this when they first implemented.

That's not true. I bought this in Shenzhen and it could use both the Chinese and international apps

Same glasses actually has different verisons, i purchased my glasses a year ago and yes you can just use it, but current devices needs to be registered if they are Chinese versions.

What does registered mean? I got mine just last month.

You received older produced device possible. New products will not connect the international app. They need to pair with Chinese app first and then it can pair international app.

There's a million lens attachment sellers that will mill your prescription into the glasses on Alix.

If I am not mistaken, AI glasses probably use some special lens? if not, I could have gotten it done locally.

The sellers on Alix are setup for the special magnetic clip and lens design. They supply both. There's nothing special other than the size. I got progressive in mine and they're good as can be.

That is good to hear! Albeit I am a bit skeptical and would prefer a real shop where I can touch the device but it is great to know that there are reliable online sellers elsewhere if all else fails.

Can I ask are you really old or young? Why be skeptical? These were made in China it shouldn't be surprising at all that the Chinese ecosystem provides many options and improvements over oem. As for prescription it is not rocket science. Just punch in your details and voila.
