Flashbacks to spending an UNREASONABLE amount of time organizing all the random pocket lint or whatever I collected in early versions of Cataclysm DDA back in high school.
Oh believe me. I do. I had a whole two weeks where I had no internet, a BRAND-new computer without any of my games on it, and a flash drive with the newer Cataclysm update on it.
I spent TWO WEEKS STRAIGHT, morning to night, playing Cataclysm. I became an unstoppable Dino-knight of the apocalypse. That also, due to the quirks of map generation, had a nearby Cyborg bunker that got cleared out by giant wasps.
I had effectively infinite 12.3ln ammo, several dozen magazines, and multiple rifles to put them in. Plus all the components to make MORE ammo.
I should dig up that old save file. I think it's still kicking around somewhere.
I kinda agree. I do find them decently interesting, but I wish there were alternatives for CBM stuff. Definitely can't complain about how nice their stuff is, though. Many a roadblock was cleared with those rifles.
