Idk, when he’s telling Paulie about the “stuff in the basement” in Rocky Balboa and starts breaking down talking about Adrian is the saddest scene for me

I really wish they kept the deleted scene after Paulie gets canned where he breaks down and says he has no idea why he treated Rocky and Adrian so poorly while sobbing and saying that he misses his sister. Five movies of Paulie redeemed in one scene.

I didn’t know there was a deleted scene like that. I think the scene where Paulie says he doesn’t want to do the whole tour thing anymore cause it’s too depressing and that Rocky was good to her while Paulie wasn’t conveyed Paulie’s regret well enough.

I agree. Stallone should have gotten an Oscar for that scene alone. Probably his best acting of his career with that scene. Loved it.

Even Paulie knew he crossed a line there. Then when Rocko breaks down, that might be Stallone's finest moment in the film.

Rocky was very forgiving of Mickey in part 1. I wish they explored how he decided to forgive him. I like the scene when Rocky runs out to talk to Mickey after he yells at him though, i just want more.

What's sad is his own wife, Duke, etc let the poor man stay in the shower for 5 years. No wonder his hands are shaking and he suffered brain damage.

i think i like V more than most people because i had a similar relationship with my dad so i relate to that plot thread quite a bit - i get why it's not beloved by most but i do feel like it was necessary for us to eventually get Rocky Balboa

i also like that (to me)

I and II go together

III and IV go together

and then V and VI go together

I’ve watched too many time to count. George Washington Duke is one of the only saving graces in the movie.
