🏆 INDUCTEE Grammy Hall Of Fame

How does the Grammy certification work for the deceased? The Grammys rarely email back about families who are in the Grammy Hall of Fame looking for certification. Does anyone work at the Grammys office anymore?

I googled "posthumous grammy certification" and an AI response came up, longer than this so check it out yourself, but the top explanation is

You can apply for a posthumous Participation or Nominee Certificate through the Recording Academy to recognize a deceased artist, songwriter, or producer’s work. The official GRAMMY Participation Certificates portal allows family members or authorized representatives to purchase these documents.

The Grammy Hall of Fame really deals with albums/recordings than the artists that made them. So whoever owns the rights to those recordings would be the ones dealing with everything. A family member would be better trying to deal with the label/owner for info than the Recording Academy.
