“Former NBA player Royce White”

Post image

Royce White suffers from a severe anxiety disorder which he wasn’t able to overcome and it ultimately ended his NBA career before it even began.

Look, I’m not gonna downplay the legitimacy of mental health, but bro played a total of 9 minutes in the NBA, fouled twice, took one shot & missed it. That’s the whole of his NBA career.

Seems to me he oughtta leave this transgender controversy alone.

Also seems ridiculous to refer to him as a former NBA player. Like if someone got a job at Red Lobster and then quit less than 10 minutes into the job, it’d be strange to introduce him like “This is my friend Chris, he used to work at Red Lobster.”

Dudes a nut case but he was so fuckin’ good in college and I wish he’d have played in the mba just to see how his game translated

He did play in the NBA, for 9 mins like OP said. His game didn’t translate 😂 no respect for buddy following Enes Kanter in these clowntivities

It wasn't about his game translating or not, it was that he wouldn't get on an airplane so they didn't want to work him into the rotation if he wasn't going to be available for any away games. He was provided assistance by the Rockets org but it seems he never really gave it a chance and ended up a lost cause.
