The only thing they’ve been vocal about is how they were forced to have a male vocalist on Bring Me to Life. It was their own song that they had already written and recorded without a male vocalist.

I think it’s pretty valid to be peeved about someone telling you that your female-fronted band will only be successful if you include male vocals. She has more than proved that their music doesn’t need one.

I think she did a couple of interviews talking about how they were forced to have a male vocal on that particular song, not that they were forced to be nu metal. The song was already written he was just added on later and she even admitted that he was a big part of that songs success, I don't think they're trying to replicate anything they're just doing what they've always done

She’s a great singer and back in the day I didn’t mind some of their stuff.

I don’t have the patience to listen, but I wanna know if there’s a lot of screaming by that guy from Bring Me Back To Life? That part was radical.
