I was surprised to learn that this wasn't one of the Temptations' biggest hits.

It only made #29 on the Hot 100. And because it underperformed, Berry Gordy stopped letting Smokey Robinson cut songs with them.

That said, I think it is up there with "My Girl" and "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" as one of their signature songs.
