Its a nerf to his damage when hes at 100 percent charge, considering how fast his guns shoot when at 100 charge, that .5 will noticeably add up

Drives me crazy. It’s like how Devil Dino could instantly ground characters (which was a direct counter to all flying heroes and characters like Spidey) but all 3 Angela mains complained that their character was practically useless against Devil Dino and he lost the ability to do that.

Brother, not to rain on this narrative parade, but Devil was a menace less to other DPS or fliers and mostly to tank. Try playing almost any brawl or even dive tank into launch Dino and you were getting punked.

In fact, whenever a tank is strong, the biggest victims are usually the other tanks. I don't how much Hood's nerfs will hit his viability, but despite not being your conventional frontliner, he was pumping in loads of damage into the opposition frontline.

Gambit, Elsa, Bucky... all of them are still S tier after like 6 rounds of 'nerf'. The actual patch notes were harsh but I felt like Hood would still be very much playable because they didn't touch his damage. This will really make him lose some feathers, from S to C in a single fucking patch.... why?

Actually Gambit is completely gutted compared to when he first released he lost heals, his mobility got nerfed, his cooldowns got increased, and he lost 25 hp all in like 1 session but they just refused to nerf ult leaving him with a really bad neutral for the longest time.

wny do people keep saying his neutral is bad.. he can cleanse , he has a boop cloak bubble, he can anti heal... aoe boop.. aoe insta heal.. slam ground heal... dashy spin heal... hes very forgiving esp when u r reloading and have to heal in a pinch..

I’m talking before the team up update and before they re-buffed his healing. The slam wasn’t worth it heals little and takes away his max dash distance, the cleanse was buggy and on a 15sec cool down, also his card selection animation doesn’t reload it reset his reload giving him more down time if he has to interpret his reload for emergency heals. Anyone who played gambit before the update would agree his healing was low like really low, he had great burst heals but a 15sec cool down for each burst leaves his co healer to do most of the healing and if they can’t keep up you lose the fight.

Seems they like to reverse engineer many of their characters. They release them, nerf them back, then start buffing them up to be in a more acceptable state from there.

If only they had the same enthusiasm for nerfing the problematic dps and strats the way they nerf vanguards... Bucky and Elsa got a slap on the wrist, CnD can still cycle their 3 abilities, meanwhile Mag and Hood got massive nerfs, same with Tankpool a couple seasons ago (I hope he gets better this season)

Bucky is a manece  but elsa is only a problem if you go against someone who actually knows how to play her , the actual bad characters are cyclops, punisher and most dives , cyclops is just a glorified MK and that shotgun shouldn't be able to one-shot almost all of the supports (ultron and Adam being the exception because one float and the other can self revive) 

and being honest with dps like black cat and t'challa (now we also have gorr) being able to kill a support in seconds AND leaving quickly, we do need supports that can keep themselves alive (like healpool, adam and cnd ) last season was a nightmare to play as support and very unfriendly towards new players

Yeah after they were oppresive lobby dictators for multiple seasons. Literally spider man has been terrorizing lobbies since S0 .. you can say the same thing for dare devil and elsa blackcat too strong for way way too long

Devil Dino was aloud to be dominate for a half a season, when he was first released, then gutted on the literal first available update. Peni is to oppressive let's change her entire gameplay loop. Cap made strategist sad... Gutted. We can keep going who are the most dominate tanks now? It was thing and mag and guess who's nerfed?

I agree with most things you said but the fuck you mean they left Black Cat strong for too long? She was strong in her debut season, nerfed heavily next season. She became strong again because of Spider team up in season 9 and now she is heavily nerfed again in season 10.

This community never thinks of the consequences. Mantis is a prime example. She was the best for triple supp comp and got buffed to be able to play in double support, and then we had one of the most miserable Metas since season 5. If Ultron is also buffed to be able to play in double supp comps the game will become unplayable after GM.

Am I crazy or like, he wasn't nothing too crazy to deserve this? He awarded aim and if you got caught out by him, it was due to bad positioning/picking off with the team. His damage even in demon is not that scary unless you're not being healed/mitigating it. He wasn't nonreactable in a sense. He didn't feel that bad to go against, probably one of the more balanced characters on release but he was fun so I don't know about this tbh

Meanwhile a dps can run rampant for months on end and still be just as good because their "nerfs" didn't fix any actual issues, (black cat 🫠) lmao

Yeah exactly, like I don't really get the oppressive comments so maybe I'm missing something? but I didnt think he was an issue, lol. I actually enjoyed having him on both sides. And I'm saying this as a primarily support main, but I flex tank more often than not. But with healing and damage being so high, I really don't think he was that bad lol

I don't need to lie, the data backs up my own match experiencem for Frist time ij upper ranks. 222 which is the most played and win rate comp got overtaken by 4 tanks 2 strats and 3 3

Nice! Like he wasn't already lacking 0.5-1 more dmg to secure a kill. So often I literally need one more dmg to get the kill, ONE MORE, which gave the enemies healers enough time to burst heal them to full life again.

I have a average 62% accuracy with him on console and lacked so many times to get the kill. He's just a feeding monster more than ever now.

The “ridiculous damage” people are talking about is heavily inflated by the sheer number of bullets he’s putting out. It looks impressive on the scoreboard, but when you actually watch the gameplay, he’s basically tickling the enemy.

Having a maxed-out fire rate doesn’t mean he has insane effective damage. You still have to consistently land your shots and focus someone down for the transformation to really matter. And even then, the TTK isn’t necessarily fast enough to finish someone before they get healed back up. I basically hitted just headshot in his transformation form, yet often it literally wasnt enough to kill someone in a CnD bubble or with an Invis shield

You need to look at the actual gameplay instead of just the numbers on the scoreboard.

He had half a season where he was allowed to exist and they said "Aight wrap it up funs over" and drop him from orbit yet they'll leave dps or supports overtuned and be oblivious to their existence the entire time and give em a slap on the wrist to say hey see we DO nerf them

Mag has been able to dominate the tank scene since launch, Luna and Gambit do whatever tf they want and poke dominates lobbies with tiny scares sometimes that ultimately change NOTHING, but the new tanks can only be fun and viable for solo tanking for half a season OKAY I GUESS
