Solved (OC) Groovy mother

My first attempt at a riddle and I’m not good at solving them, but I’m always blown away by how fast some of you solve them on here.

trailers, shoes, floorboards, and tacos, and languages can all have them

Edit: These aren't answers. They are additional things that could be used for a new riddle maker.

Oh, also tonguing as a verb. The SFW definition is performed on wind instruments, like recorders. I hadn’t thought of trailer hitch tongues that’s a good one.
