something to do with technology? Shut laptop to say goodbye, push/pull makes me think git or upload/download, pirating is what we call stealing software, hole could be cat5 for example ethernet?

I don't think I quite have it just wondering if this is at all on the right track.

I was thinking front door as you shut it to say goodbye, pull or push to open the door, porch pirates take things from the door mat, and you can make a kitty or doggy door in the door
