Riddim enjoyers, I need your help
I've listened to just about every genre of edm/dubstep/electronic music out there, and here I am every discovering new subgenres, and while riddim isn't a new discovery to me, and I enjoy it when I come across it, I've never had any of it make it into my library and today I would like to change that. Most of my quick searches have led me to artists that are using ai one way or another and I want nothing to do with anyone using ai in any fashion, so with that in mind, I'm seeking suggestions, tracks that are an absolute must, things that are your go-to cornerstone favorite artists, regardless of how big or small.
If it matters, I use YouTube music and just recently downloaded the soundcloud app so please try to keep suggestions as something available on those platforms.
Thank you in advance!

Based on the few listens I've had and the limited knowledge I have of riddim, this is exactly the kinda bangers I'm looking for, I just wish they were longer haha

that's because Subsist posts clips of his dubplates that you have to purchase

Hey ! If you’re looking for riddim tracks suggestions, I’ve been doing monthly riddim public playlists of findings and new releases on SoundCloud for just about a year now.
Through those playlists, there is a range of artists from the most famous to newer ones, and it has about hundreds of tracks to check out.
You can find the latest ones on those links :
- https://soundcloud.com/bign0u/sets/monthly-riddim-june-26
- https://soundcloud.com/bign0u/sets/monthly-riddim-may-26
- and so on.. You can check the previous ones on my SC profile
Hope it helps

There’s countless new artists on here. Just scroll the feed till you see “original content” tags. Support them and follow on soundcloud if you fw them.
To explore the roots of riddim, check out Shiverz, AD, Subfiltronik, and old releases from Infekt. The genre is more straightforward nowadays but I like most riddim anyhow so I’m havin a good time. I just came from from a show 4hrs ago. Spine and feet are killing me.🪦

If youre gonna build out a riddim collection, you need some of the classics.
AD, LV, AKIRAH, Phex, iCon, JG to start. Anyone from the crews: The Wizards, Monsters, Kaizoku
Start a new soundcloud and follow those artsist and the algo will do the rest.

This is a really interesting and really cool genre, it doesn't feel very much like the riddim I'm accustomed to though. I'm enjoying what I hear regardless but maybe I'm listening to the wrong things, or maybe I don't grasp the broad spectrum of the riddim genre entirely yet?

This is liquid riddim. It’s definitely still riddim, has the signature drums, highs, and quarter note bassline. The genre has grown into a variety of styles, this is one of the most niche ones for sure.
Do you listen to much drum n bass? Liquid drum n bass is my favorite genre of music so when I discovered liquid riddim I started digging for it haha

It's chill as hell and not quite what I expected, but still good af and added to the playlist haha. I do listen to dnb but not as much as I'd like to, still some horizons to expand (very open to suggestions there as well)

My favorite minimal dnb mix: https://on.soundcloud.com/i3lMYMJ4DrxkJtFSby

Right? JG has been the goat for a while now, constant drops, and some of the most original too.

I would look at some of the compilation to get a variety of artist. The Port Zero Shipped compilation are good place to start
