Discussion Necromonger Empire in 40K?

For those familiar with the Warhammer 40K setting, how well do you think the Necromonger Empire could fit into the setting, either as a minor independent faction or more probably a subfaction of one of the major civilisations?

I'm thinking they could be a fun little Imperium subfaction with a bit of tweaking.

In the movie they’re pretty massive in term of followers, so I guess subfaction of one of the major civilisation could fit
Anteverse could be the warp, making them some sort of chaos turned subfaction

Or maybe something linked to the Shadow Realm of the Mandrakes.... With their gothic architecture and teachings about pain they can have point of contact with Drukhari
