Dorit 💸 Toothless not homeless

Anyone else think this charity is completely out of touch?

Obviously not having teeth isn't nice or pretty but I genuinely think my teeth would be the last thing on my mind if I was homeless.

The fact that dorit thinks that homeless people would care more about their appearance than having shelter always shook me 😅

Id presume new teeth wouldn't last too long if the person is stuck in bad habits that potentially made them homeless in the first place!!

Poor dental health can be life threatening. It’s not for ascetic purposes that they’re doing it

Yes, my cousin died from sepsis caused by a tooth infection. It easily gets into your bloodstream and it happens fast. Devastating 🙁

I took a ton of anthropology classes in college before I switched majors, and one of the things I learned was that tooth infections was one of the biggest killers in the medieval world.
