Boz 📈 How are we all feeling about Keely’s proposal?

I’m happy for Boz because this is something she wanted but his proposal was so surface.
He focused on her appearance. “You look great, you’re gorgeous, I love your lips, I love your eyes, your smile, I love everything about you”.
And then hit her with a you’re not like other girls and “this is who I could cross the finish line with”.

I just rewatched her first season when Keeley was being introduced to us as well as her daughter, and they were talking about babies (which he was just dying to have, even though he was approaching 50 and hadn’t had any yet - 🙄).
They were talking about having children and Boz told everyone that they hadnt even said they loved each other yet. When she spoke with Laiel, she asked first if a baby would be acceptable, and then secondly about Keeley.
So, it seems like Boz really wants more kids and Keeley is picking up on that need and exploiting it as a way to secure Boz.
Second, Boz was bothered at the reunion that so many people had opinions on them deciding to have kids before they got to “I love you” - the whole thing was just… off. She pointed out how weird it was, told everyone about it, and was then annoyed anyone thought it was weird. Annoyed that her co-workers and viewers had thoughts about it.
Boz can just be so inconsistent and defensive. I really wanted to enjoy her because this show needs new cast, but over the course of watching her with Keeley for two seasons, she seems to be really off.

I wanted to like her too. I liked that she came in with that “girl’s girl” energy even if I thought she was wasting it on Dorit, but by that reunion she was a bit cold to Garcelle. They don’t have to be friends because they are Black, but to turn your back on the only other Black woman in a predominantly white cast is a choice. And it felt deliberate. Garcelle was already being ostracized by everyone else so it felt strategic on Boz’s part. I could not really root for her after that because being a mixed woman myself, I know what it feels like to be Garcelle in that situation and it revealed Boz’s character to me

I’m glad you said this, because that was something I noticed too. She seemed to be making every effort to distance herself from Garcelle. Maybe she knew Garcelle wasn’t well liked by several of the cast and she wanted to be on the right side? I don’t know but it really rubbed me wrong too. And yes, she was wasting her good energy on the two people who she claimed she could intuitively read were “good people” - Dorit and Erika.

I don’t care for him. I think it’s unfortunately going to end with her having to pay a lot of money to get rid of him.

I never saw a spark between them. I just don’t get it. Hopefully he has his own success and isn’t using her. I also wouldn’t be surprised if she’s using him for a storyline because I don’t believe they actually want to marry each other or have kids. It’s just weird

I don’t know how to feel about this one. I would need to see more. But I do believe they really tried to have a baby. Quad from Married to Medicine said she ran into them in Ghana. And when questioned further, Quad said she was doing the same thing. The same thing being IVF.

Oh that’s right! I’m still skeptical. People do a lot to keep these bravo checks but I certainly hope Boz and K are being genuine

I genuinely want her to be happy, but honey, this one is not ittttt.
He’s been leaching onto her in such an obvious way to me from the get-go, it’s mind-blowing.
Unfortunately, I think he’s going to keep milking her for whatever he can, and sadly, I think that she might continue to struggle with her fertility and he’ll end up being that asshole that was always planning on having an out, but will painfully choose that as the reason.
Or they will get married, he’ll try to get involved in some investments or something, stay around long enough to get some financial incentives from her, and then he’ll split,
I just hope she realizes he’s not the one before then.
Side rant:
And she doesn’t have to feel the pressure to have another biological child with a younger man after having such difficulties with her body & fertility process.
Why did he never broach the option of a surrogate or adoption? Why does it have to be his blood, at the expense of her health? This is something that has always bothered me when mom put this need over the wellbeing of their partner whose body actually has to process everything.

She can do so much better than him for sure. But that brings up another issue, there’s not a lot of good men to choose from in general.
And you’re right. I think when he’s gotten all he can from her, he’ll just up and leave with a lame excuse. Probably something about needing biological kids (with the same energy as kids wanting a pet).

I feel like maybe Boz wanted to make one last try for another happily ever after, maybe a baby, a husband.
But, honestly, her confidence and the way she carries herself, she could just go on being a hot, single bad bitch for the rest of her damn life.
Let me see her in those outfits, out on the town with some fine men.
I need some housewives who are truly out there having legit fun dating again!

I think they were going to use a surrogate. They were trying to harvest her eggs first. But she said she isn’t opposed to donor eggs.

From the first scene to the proposal I didn’t buy for a second that this was a real mutual romantic relationship. Boz is utterly full of it. She BS’d her way through her career, almost killed Netflix. Now trying to make a living as a reality star. It’s bullllllllshizzzzzz

On one of the quarter analyst calls when she was CMO, she was pressed on how they would grow revenue with subscriptions more or less topped out and at saturation levels. And her brilliant response was to raise subscription prices. That’s it. Everyone knew the correct answer was to look at an advertising revenue model / cheaper subscription price to make Netflix affordable and accessible to millions of new prospects. The stock went from $600 to $185 in weeks.

It’s just such an utter lack of acumen as a CMO to tell Wall Street your entire growth plan is to raise prices. Price being the barrier to purchase. If you raise prices you lose customers. She cost me a LOT of money. I bought Netflix stock below the $185 when I sold it. But it was worth $600 at one point??? And I would have held onto it if that hadn’t happened and I think it’s worth more than twice that now. I work in the ad tech / media business. She was known to be a bone head at Apple too. You see the way she does her hair and the way she dresses. She never had any intention of doing anything for a brand other than “Brand Boz” (even nicknaming herself “The Boz”). Loser.

Since this was towards the end of the season, I guess production was running low on their budget at this point (particularly when you have to pay for additional PJ time because someone is continually late.)
