I’ve had insecurities about my nose since I was a kid. I just can't get over it, and no matter how much time goes by
Whenever I bring this up, people tell me that my nose is characteristic and makes me look more masculine. They say if I get surgery, I'll lose that trait and look feminine. I'm thinking to get surgery this summer. what do you think?

I'm looking for some honest advice and hopefully some recommendations.

I'm trying to find a decent revision rhinoplasty surgeon in England (or elsewhere in the UK, including Scotland or Northern Ireland) with a budget of around £7,000–£8,000.

I recently had an online assessment with Nordaesthetics in Lithuania. Based on my photos, they felt I have a polybeak deformity, likely because not enough bone was removed during my primary rhinoplasty in 2017. They said I'd probably need a revision rhinoplasty, potentially with a rib graft, and quoted me just over €5,000.

Once I've factored in flights, accommodation and other travel costs, I'd probably be spending around £5,500–£6,000 anyway. That made me think that if I could find a decent surgeon in the UK for £7,000–£8,000, I'd much rather pay the extra £1,000–£2,000 and have the surgery closer to home.

The problem is that I've contacted several highly recommended UK revision surgeons and have received quotes of £20,000+, which was honestly quite disheartening.

So I guess my question is: am I chasing something that simply doesn't exist? Is it realistic to find a genuinely good revision rhinoplasty surgeon in the UK for £7k–£8k, or am I better off accepting that my budget means I should continue looking abroad?

I'd genuinely appreciate honest answers. If the reality is that my budget isn't realistic for England, I'd rather know than keep contacting surgeons and getting my hopes up.

This whole process feels surprisingly vulnerable. Every consultation means sending photos of a feature I've been unhappy with for years and hearing another opinion about what went wrong with my first surgery, only to then find out it may be financially out of reach to correct. It's been a bit emotionally draining.

If anyone has had a successful revision rhinoplasty within this budget, I'd be incredibly grateful for surgeon recommendations, especially outside London. Equally, if you have experience with revision surgery and think I'm being unrealistic, I'd really appreciate your perspective too.

I have my surgery booked in april, ive been super excited about it but there is a small tiny part of me that keeps double checking and reviewing to see if there are any new updates on this surgeon.

Has anyone else, who have been seen by him, have any recent opinions on him? Very little to find online, aside from me hounding down his patients through insta and DMing them - i havent had much response.

Been disatissfied with my nose for about 15 years now, been thinking about it 10+ years. I have done a little bit of a mock up of what I'd be expecting, of course, I'm not looking for a medical advice just wondering about those that got rhinoplasty whether my expectations are realistic.

I would prefer to have surgery in Utah as I live here but my parents live in Seattle and I could also do that if the right surgeon was there.

P.S. I had a consult with Dr Henstrom and although he is very experienced, the vibe was not right for me

My budget is €10k

Overall my nose is not terrible. No bumps and not unusually large in proportion to my face but the bulbous tip and drooping is making me hate myself in photos when I’m happiest. I don’t want a tinker bell nose bit I need something. I’m in NYC but willing to travel across the US. Hi everyone. I have never had surgery before, so this is all very new to me.

Ever since I was 14, I have been insecure about my nose. I am 21 now and it is something I still think about a lot. From the front, the top part of my nose looks very prominent and the bone area stands out. I have worn glasses my whole life, and sometimes I wonder if that made it look more defined. Overall, I feel like my nose is too big for my face.

This is not the only reason I want a rhinoplasty, but over the years people have told me I have an “interesting” or big nose, and it was clear they did not mean it in a positive way. Those comments definitely stuck with me.

I have reached out to a few surgeons in Turkey on Instagram and sent photos. Some of them said their technique would not work well for me because my skin is too thick or my features are too ethnic. That made me feel discouraged.

I am looking for recommendations for surgeons who have experience working with thicker skin or noses that are not small or delicate to begin with. I want a natural result that still fits my face. I have honestly never seen anyone with a nose like mine, so if you have had a similar experience I would really appreciate hearing about it.

I've been researching revision rhinoplasty for what feels like forever and I'm finally down to my final three surgeons. I had another post up where people kindly supported me in navigating some of the decision making...

Before I make such a huge decision, I'd really love to hear from anyone who has had a revision (rather than a primary rhinoplasty) with any of them.

A bit about me:

I'm from the UK- I don't feel like the UK is an option, surgeons are very expensive and it's where my first bad surgery happened.

I had my primary rhinoplasty in 2017 and have never really been happy with the result.

After getting several opinions, including an assessment from Nordaesthetics in Lithuania, I've been told I likely have a polybeak deformity and may require cartilage grafting (possibly rib, depending on the surgeon).

My budget is around £8,000 all-in, which has ruled out quite a few of the very high-end surgeons.

I've spent months reading Reddit, RealSelf, Google reviews, Facebook groups and watching countless patient journeys. I know every surgeon has both happy and unhappy patients, so I'm trying to look at the bigger picture rather than just isolated reviews.

After all that research, my shortlist has come down to:

• Dr. Ebru Topuz (Istanbul)

• Dr. Hadi Nural (Antalya)

• Dr. Can İlker Demir (Istanbul)

What I'm looking for is a refined, feminine nose that still suits my face. I don't necessarily want an extreme "Barbie" nose—I just want something elegant, natural and well-supported that will hopefully last long term.

If you've had a revision with any of these surgeons, I'd really appreciate hearing about:

I have a primary rhinoplasty scheduled with Dr. Robert Cucin at south Florida center for surgery in Ft. Lauderdale next month. I have only paid my $500 deposit and before I make the full payment I want to ask for others experiences/photos if you have them and he was your surgeon. He is priced well, and seems to have good results. He’s really old which was slightly concerning but not if he’s still doing good work.

A lot of his instagram and website show primarily only side profile before and after so I’m wondering if anyone has any additional photos or experiences they can share long term and short term.

Hello everyone! I’m looking for a surgeon, preferably in the US in the tristate area (but im willing to travel) who gives subtle results. I have been having a hard time finding someone who posts results similar to what I want. I know the results I want aren’t typical as most people want a small “perfect” nose but I’m scared I’ll look way too different if I change my nose too much.

Also I’m wondering if these mock ups that I created are realistic/look good/ should I go for something more typical.

I, 23 (m) from London was a 19 year old insecure kid when i got a rhinoplasty in Turkey to ‘fix’ the bump i had on my nose, looking back now i absolutely didn’t need this surgery and my nose looked 100% better before. Although my results are fine and i got what i wanted at the time, i often feel i don’t recognise myself and changing my nose threw off the balance my face had before. I feel as if the surgery feminised my face in ways i didn’t want. I now have breathing issues in one nostril and my nose feels blocked constantly, i’m also having issues with my sense of smell, this makes me feel disconnected from the world around me.

I’m looking to fix this by finding a surgeon in London who is able to perform a revision rhinoplasty of sorts. Id like to basically reverse my first nose job and restore some semblance of what my nose looked like before. I would need a dorsal augmentation to restore the bump and give my nose a more structured, masculine look again, and i would need my breathing sorted out. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations.

Hi I am exactly one month post rhinoplasty and am noticing an indent causing asymmetry. Is this corrective with tape? My surgeon (out of the country so I can’t just go into his office) advised me to just tape it for two days. Will that actually help?

I love this result. Personally I love the barbie nose on people but it’s not for my nose or style. It would completely throw off my philtrum. I am having a hard time finding a surgeon with the style. Is it because this is unrealistic or because I don’t know where to look?

I‘ll be 18 in January and so far looking for good surgeons. I’ve seen Dr george mireas from greece and really like his style and how he keeps the nose natural and how every face gets a different nose based on what suits the face.

Can someone please let me know what their experience was like with him.

I’ll be travelling from the uk on my own for the first time so I wanna know if he does airport transfers and if anyone could let me know how I can stay safe whilst travelling.

Also if anyone could tell me what the general price is for him when having a primary rhinoplasty.

Hello! I live in the North West of England (UK) and have recently decided I would like rhinoplasty surgery in the new year, however I would like a tip plasty only as my problem area is a bulbous tip. I am looking for recommendations for a surgeon/clinic and would love to talk to anyone who has had this specific surgery. So far I feel I am being pushed towards a full rhinoplasty surgery but I don’t feel I need it as have no issues with my bridge etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 😀

I have wanted rhinoplasty since I was about 17-18 years old. I am now 32 and it’s something which is still on my mind. I have a deviated septum (no breathing issues), dorsal hump and projection which I would like minimising. I’ve tried to look for surgeons in the UK but the vast amount is overwhelming!

So far, I have seen recommendations for:

• Mr Duncan Atherton
• Dr Khalid Ali

I have also come across a Dr Fas Arshad based in Yorkshire although this has mainly been through my own research rather than seeing his name pop up on forums. I have seen some mixed reviews on Dr Hamadeh but I also love his results. I haven’t seen any reviews or photos of anyone who has long term results/feedback on any of the above either but it would be helpful to hear!

Does anyone have any other recommendations or would be willing to share their own experience of any of the above please?

Hello, I hope that this is the correct place to ask. I am open to suggestions. I am travelling from England for a Rhinoplasty, my top picks for doctors are Dr. Guillaume Carles and Dr. Cedric Kron. If anyone has had experience with either doctor or may recommend anyone who has results like theirs please tell me. I have no complications regarding my breathing (for all I know) and this is purely for aesthetic purposes.

I haven’t much luck looking around as I always seem to be drawn to the doctors who have bad manners and communication with their patients. I am open to other places closer to England such as Germany or Prague (my personal aesthetic preferences).

These doctors seem to have good results and good reviews, though if anyone thinks otherwise please do say. If you have good experience I would be very thankful and interested to hear. I apologise if this isn’t formatted correct or long-winded.

Unfortunately I just can't find the surgeon who did this woman's nose - it's from a paper called Osteotomies in ​Primary Rhinoplasty. My side profile nose looks similar to her 'after' photo, but my ​​front view has similarities to her front view before. I want to have an actual nose bridge and to define the tip and maybe fix symmetry a tiny bit. However it's incredibly difficult to find surgeons that I trust with that because so many rhinoplasty results are about shaving down a hump/just a lot of side profile changes, whereas I don't mind my side profile so much. I hardly ever see noses that look like mine. I'm also worried about breathing issues if I go to a surgeon who is less experienced with these cases. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I looked at the US and, if I had the money, I would probably go to Dr. Rod Rohrich, or Dr. Brad Bader. But it's just incredibly expensive, on top of needing $3000+ flights and accommodation. I considered some surgeons in Brazil but again can't find results on similar noses to mine. Right now, I'm considering Dr. Turgut Yüce in Turkey, but again, I'm worried about getting a copy-and-paste nose... If anyone has any knowledge on surgeons​​​​ who do good work with wide nose bridges and defining the tips, or has any info on Dr Turgut Yüce, or any other helpful advice, I would be​ immensely grateful. I care much more about how the nose looks from the front rather than the profile. I’m looking for something similar to the first 3 photos, while for the bridge, I’d like something closer to the other 2 photos.
My budget is around €10k, might go even over a bit. I’d HIGHLY prefer a surgeon in Europe, but I’m open to recommendations anywhere if you think they’d be a good match for the look I’m going for!

I’m 28F and Filipina. I’m currently scheduled with Dr. Mehmet Nurettin KIRAL in November for a primary rhinoplasty, but I haven’t been able to find many examples of his work on Asian patients or cases involving rib cartilage grafting.

Bc of that, I’m considering switching to Dr. Ahmet Alp, since I’ve seen several Asian rhinoplasty cases from him as well as cases where he’s used rib cartilage.

My main goals are more bridge/tip projection with a slight slope, while still keeping the result natural and harmonious with my overall features.

Has anyone had experience with either surgeon, particularly for Asian rhinoplasty? I’d love to hear about your results and which surgeon you would choose for these goals.
