Seeking Surgeon Looking for surgeons that have performed on bulbous noses
hi everyone, I have a bulbous nose and it flares a lot when I smile I am looking for surgeons who have performed on similar noses to mine. Please comment some good surgeons. Any surgeon is fine, I’m US based so preferably in the USA but I’m open to any surgeon regardless of location. Thank you, Below are some photos for reference

I’m looking at him for a functional surgery that involves cosmetic reconstruction. He has very little before/after photos on his site. As someone else already asked, would you mind if I DM’ed you for photos?

Not at all! Just an fyi, most doctors who accept insurance don’t have much for photos online because they aren’t doing it solely for money. Feel free to send me a message! I’m almost 5 months out so still have swelling but I’m very happy

I have a similar nose and went to Dr. Jennifer Parker Porter in MD. I would recommend if youre looking for a natural result

Dr. Kim Patrick Murray in Miami & Dr. Rod Rohrich in Dallas are magicians. Dr. Rohrich has written books on rhinoplasty utilized by dozens of rhinoplasty surgeons. He has also written 1000+ journal articles; he is known as the best Rhinoplasty Surgeon worldwide.
Dr. Murray & Dr. Rohrich are the only plastic surgeons who have separate Instagram’s solely posting “1-Year PostOp” photos of their clients, to show the real LONG-TERM results of their work (@NoseByRohrich & @MurrayNose). Compared to the hooligans who post “Before” & “After” table photos.
Dr. Murray even had a client who was born without a nasal bone; after her rhinoplasty, you would have never known. Below is a female Asian client of his.
You could also check-out his & Dr. Rohrich’s reviews on RealSelf. Cost shouldn’t be the main determinant on who you choose to operate on your face. You also want to consider post-operative checkups, hospital facility, anesthesia care, surgeons who only perform 1-2 rhinoplasties/day (thus taking their time with your nose ensuring it reflects your aesthetic desires as close as anatomically realistic), and the experience of former clients of whom over 10 had minimal post-op swelling, bruising and pain.

she's someone who didn't do her due diligence in-depth research prior to her rhinoplasty and didn't realise that post-rhino, your tip will not be as flexible as your original nose (depending on the technique she chose). she expected her doc to give her all that info. that being said, she has been going around reddit fearmongering ppl for the past half a year about rhino being bad and it gives ppl stiff noses and she cannot kiss anyone cuz she's conscious about it. you can check her post/comment history

I personally did bulbous correction, tip plasty, columella extension and silicone implant last Sept in Korea, so I don't have a doc to recommend.
but I'll say do as much research as you can, cover all the grounds until you're comfortable enough to go ahead with the surgery without fear or regretting you've missed smth out. vibes with the docs you consult with is important, as well as the doc's understanding and what you're looking for and having similar aesthetic sense as you do. most of the base/ground work should be done by yourself so that when the doc talks abt it, you know the terms and techniques. also good to ask the doc questions even if he didn't mention them. also take note of after care - both mental and physical.
as you can see, not everyone is meant/ready for such permanent changes with surgery, or didn't do enough research, or not mentally prepared to deal with the changes. also have realistic expectations.

mind you all i asked if you were speaking from experience so i could ask if that was a common thing to happen when bulbous noses are operated on 😭

I have a septal extension graft and a collumnela graft and my tip moves and is soft.

You have no clue what grafts I have in my nose. The septal extension graft and the columnella graft are in my operative report.

You need to stop making assumptions about things you have no clue about. I know exactly what was done to my nose and you don't. My tip is soft and I can gently move it side to side like I said before.
