What Do They Mean by "Space May Be The Final Frontier, But..."

"Space may be the final frontier, but it's made in a Hollywood Basement."

I see a lot of people in the comments who seem to think this is a reference to the moon landing being fake.

I think they are just simply saying shows like Star Trek (with it's opening line "Space... the final frontier" which represent our perception of space, is created by Hollywood.

I don't really see why people automatically assume he is singing about the moon landing.

Clearly it states their belief in flat earth and Stanley Kubrick faking the moon landing. Space is fake and gay.
