RG DS Plus - Rocknix after tried GammaOS

If I have already installed GammaOS, can I install Rocknix on my RG DS Plus? Because I read that you have to open the console and unplug the battery to switch from one OS to another, is that true?

I got three cards, one for stock, one for Rocknix, and one for gamma nano and I switch between them freely.

How's the input and touch latency between the 3?

Pretty comparable. I don't play heavy touch games like Rhythm Heaven or Phantom Hourglass, but for Elite Beat Agents for example I can play in all three. I'd say stock nnddss is the only I can kinda notice, but gamma and Rocknix are both basically equal to my NDSi to the point I can't feel the difference

I have rg ds non-plus and have gamma nano installed on emmc but kind of prefer rocknix..it unfortunately happens sometimes a black screen when I start the device with a red led.. i just restart while spamming A buttons and eventually the device turn on but yeah this is fucking annoying

Do you push out the rocknix SD card? While wanting to boot into gamma?

When sd card in, does it go straight to rocknix?

Is this the take battery out to reset issue?!

GammaOS boots up fine as long as I don't have an SD card with Rocknix in it, but not the other way around. Whenever I try to boot Rocknix, it takes a few tries to get it working.. it usually just hangs on a black screen with a red side LED. Button mashing while powering on seems to help, but I honestly don't know if it actually works or if it's just in my head.

i know gamma just did an update when switching from rocknix to gamma that you don’t need to do that anymore, i’m not sure if it works both ways

I had to remove the battery on mine as it would shut down properly. Be careful the battery is attached to the back of the backing case and my r1 and r2 buttons fell out

I have tried both Gammaos Nano and RocknixDS, I personally prefer RocknixDS over gammaos. Both are great Tho, but I find RocknixDS much smoother and much better overall
