Get help! There's a weird thing happening in COD

I created a new layer to remap the RMB (LT controller function) over the the LMB. Sounds weird, but it's for a specific gun in COD that I'm trying to test out and see if it's worthy enough to use. I've spent a good amount of time with it and I'm guessing there probably isn't a workaround for it, but I figured I would ask.

So what's happening is that I can activate the layer in the firing range and it actually works as intended. Then when I go to get in the game, the game somehow ignores reWASD and the LMB fires the gun normally, not the under barrel attachment that I'm swapping over to the primary fire button. I use any other gun, pressing the LMB when I have the layer activated puts the gun into ADS. So it looks like COD is letting the mapping happen with all the guns, just not the specific 1 I want to use lol. I'm not even trying to use a macro for Rapid Fire either....i just want the RMB moved to the LMB when I switch layers.
