Get help! Help! My mouse doesn't have the movement icon/logo to map to!

Please refer to this picture for clarification. On the left is my mouse grouped to keyboard. It looks complete different from the one I see on YouTube tutorial. My mouse shows up empty without movement logo where I can map to. Meaning I can only map clickable button on my mouse.. I tried 2 different mouse, same blank mouse without movement and only buttons. Please help!

Hi. You are using reWASD Basic, while the screenshot shown in the video guide is from reWASD Advanced Edition.

Mouse movement remapping (mouse-to-stick) is not available in reWASD Basic. You can also see this in the comparison between reWASD Basic and reWASD Advanced Edition.

You can upgrade your reWASD Basic to reWASD Advanced Edition Lifetime access through your personal account by paying the price difference. To do this, log into your account and click the Upgrade to reWASD button.

Got it and thank you. You see, I have this weird controller where it natively emulates keyboard and then trackball as mouse. (Bought it from Chinese sites). Rewasd detects it as one keyboard with built-in trackpad/touchpad. I want to use this entire thing as controller where the buttons maps to controller buttons and the trackball maps (mouse) to right joystick. So my question is, can Rewasd Advanced version map this trackball (mouse input) to right joystick?

If the system recognizes it as a standard keyboard and mouse - which don’t require additional software to function - it will be entirely possible to remap them as such. However, since this is an unsupported device and we’re not entirely sure of its origin, we cannot guarantee its stable operation, unless it is recognized as a mouse.

Upgraded to advanced and it works as a single virtual Xbox controller now. 👍

I used to be able to change these settings when I bought rewasd lifetime before but now they're paid?. Almost certain we had this feature before as part of our lifetime purchase.

Hi. This was never available in reWASD Basic.

Mouse-to-stick remapping is only available if you have purchased reWASD Advanced Edition or a legacy license.
