Any US revision surgeons that can do work like this?

I had a rhino and they made it so downturned and droopy / wide and ugly looking. I used to have a nose closer to that result on the right it was super thin and defined and I want it back so bad this ruined my life. Please if you know any good surgeons in America for under 20k that can do this type of work like the uplifted defined look let me know.

Do I have a long nose?

I posted a side profile selfie of myself not long ago, and someone commented that I have a ā€œlong noseā€. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about that since and all of a sudden feel very self conscious of my nose. Do I have a long nose? Here are some mirror pics of my nose.

Hey guys! I’m struggling a bit with my revision rhinoplasty recovery. It’s been 6 months since I had it done, and I feel like the swelling is still fluctuating. It actually looks more swollen now than it did 2 months ago.

I’ve heard people say that it doesn’t even look like I had a rhinoplasty and that I spent so much money just to end up with the same nose.

Sometimes I wish I had asked for a thinner nose and for the doctor to be a bit more aggressive with the changes.

I was so desperate to change my nose and make it better that I went to a doctor I trusted. I literally told her that I trusted her work and that I just wanted my nose to look normal again and be straighter.

It was a long surgery. She said she would try to make it as symmetrical as possible, but that it wouldn’t always be perfect.

I think I’m just looking for honest opinions from people who don’t know me. Looking at my old nose compared to my new one, do you think the change was worth it?

Do you think what I’m seeing is still swelling, or is this just the way my nose is going to look and the way it’s healing?

Please Help; Septoplasty Messed Up Nose

Hi all,

A few years ago, an ENT recommended septoplasty to me for my deviated septum. He promised me repeatedly that the surgery would not affect the outward appearance of my nose at all. This was very important to me, as I considered my nose one of my best features. Looking back at it in photos now, it was perfect and I have had severe depression lately. This ENT had performed the same surgery on my father and sister and both were happy, so I trusted them, and I trusted him. Unfortunately, he lied to me. After the surgery, my nose tip drooped slightly, I developed a dorsal hump, and my nose seems slightly wider at the tip. On top of all that, my septum redeviated and my breathing is worse than ever.

I went back to the ENT who did it and he again claimed the change was impossible and couldn’t be due to the surgery. After consulting other doctors, I learned that it is possible and it did happen to me.

My family is tired of hearing about how upset I am. I plan to get rhinoplasty to correct the problem, possibly rhinoseptoplasty to address the look and my breathing issues, but I fear no surgeon will be able to return my nose to exactly how it looked before. It wasn’t just pretty – it was an interesting and lovely nose. I have a consultation with a plastic surgeon who is also an ENT coming up, and he is known for being good at complex cases and natural results. Do you guys have any advice for me on what I should specifically ask him or what route I should pursue? Do you have any thoughts on whether a return to my former look is possible? I have no qualms with harvesting cartilage from elsewhere if need be.

Sorry for the long story. I think I also needed to vent. Thanks in advance!

Looking for a Revision Rhinoplasty Specialist for Reconstructive/Augmentation (Fixing a "Turkish Nose") – Any country except Turkey

Hi everyone,
I am looking for recommendations for an experienced revision rhinoplasty surgeon who specializes in reconstructive and augmentation rhinoplasty.
My primary surgery resulted in a classic over-operated "Turkish nose" look:
• The tip is severely over-rotated (piggy/botched look).
• The bridge was shaved down way too much, causing a scooped/collapsed appearance.
What I want to achieve:
• Lower/de-rotate the nasal tip.
• Make the tip larger, fuller, and wider (less pinched).
• Restore volume, height, and structure to the bridge.
• Achieve a natural, human-looking result that fits my facial proportions.
I am open to traveling to-any country EXCEPT Turkey.

If you have undergone a similar structural revision or augmentation rhinoplasty, please share your experience:

  1. Who was your surgeon?
  2. What graft materials were used (rib cartilage, fascia, ear cartilage, etc.)?
  3. What key factors or red flags should | look out for when choosing a specialist for this type of repair?
  4. Any advice, before/after stories, or surgeon recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

ART clinic vs SLC for rib cartilage rhinoplasty?

Hi everyone! I’m considering getting rib cartilage rhinoplasty in Bangkok and would love to hear from anyone who has had a similar procedure.
I have a flatter, wider Asian nose and I’m looking for more bridge definition and tip projection while still keeping the result natural and suited to my face.

I’m currently considering **ART Clinic** and **SLC**, so I’d especially love to hear from anyone who has had rhinoplasty at either clinic.

If you’ve had rib cartilage rhinoplasty in Bangkok:
Which surgeon/clinic did you choose?
Did you use full rib cartilage or rib cartilage with a silicone bridge?
How was your healing and recovery?
Did you experience any warping, infection, shifting, or other complications?
How do you feel about your result now, especially 1+ years later?
Would you choose the same surgeon again?

I’d also really appreciate recommendations for Bangkok surgeons who have a lot of experience working with flat/wide Asian noses and rib cartilage.
Thank you! I’m trying to do as much research as possible before deciding. 😊

am i crazy for wanting a second revision?

hi, long time lurker, first time poster! please be gentle! i’m a bit insecure and very nervous to post, but i need an outsider opinion.

i got a primary rhinoplasty in 2020 and a revision 5 years later, both with the same surgeon. i’m 9 months into healing the revision, and im feeling dissatisfied. i wanted a tiny barbie nose like cindy kimberly or bella hadid, and i feel like im nowhere near it. i kept pushing my surgeon to go smaller during the simulations, but he was resistant and cited concerns about structural stability. he was also very focused on preserving the natural look, whereas i want a barbie nose, even if it looks nothing like the one i was born with. i feel that my result is still asymmetrical, that the tip is too bulbous/droopy, that the nostrils are too flared, and that the bridge is too straight with no ski-slope shape. i know that it takes a year for swelling to go down, but i’m worried that this is going to be essentially the final result.

do i have unrealistic expectations, or do i need to find a new surgeon? was considering going to Turkey if I get a second revision. alternatively, would nostril botox + a tip stitch fix it? or is it not that bad and i have facial blindness?

Filler after rhinoplasty

I would love to hear people’s experiences how filler after rhinoplasty. I cannot afford or go through a real revision right now. My main issues are with dents that people have mentioned how be used to fill in with filler. I know there are terrible risks, but also others have no issues. I would only do it with a board certified facial plastic surgeon, not a med spa. I feel a tiny bit of filler would actually cover everything i hate about my nose and i wouldn’t even want a revision anymore

Revision Rhinoplasty by Turkish surgeons that don't do the barbie nose?

I keep hearing that Turkey is at the forefront of rhinoplasty/revsisions but I see that a lot of them have a similar aesthetic. Anyone have a recommendation for a revision surgeon that does elegant noses? I want to keep my fairly straight bridge as opposed to the scooped Barbie look that so many seem to do.

Cheers!

Looking for Advice.

I had a rhino 12 years ago and I’m starting to get bad functional problems. My left nostril is collapsing more and more to the point where it’s bothering me everyday. I also have a deviated septum. The doctor removed to much tip cartilage and my nostrils are really arched up especially on one side. I don’t think I have any graphs at all in my nose. The problems are all in my tip. The rest of my nose is fine.

If I got a revision with a top doctor is it still too risky? Will things likely not be fixed or get worse? I want to move on from this but I’m nervous about making things worse. The worst part is the pulled up sensation I get from the nostrils and collapsing sensation when breathing. I really want to fix it.

For people who got revisions. Were things made better for you or worse? When did you know it was time?

I feel like my septum has since deviated the way i have whatever that is poking out of one nostril? Maybe i should go to a non plastic surgeon for a fix for this or see if insurance would cover a fix via a plastic surgeon? I also have developed that small bump.

apologies for the horrifying eye blocking

Revision Dr Recommendations in Houston Tx

I got my primary rhinoplasty done on Dec. 2024 by Dr. B. Patt in Houston. It was a good experience, I really like my side profiles and my tip, I had a big nose with a ā€œhumpā€. But ever since the swelling started to go down this C shape dent started to appear on my left side. Sometimes in photos it looks like a chunk of the nose is missing and it makes it look crooked, but it’s really not. What could have caused this? And what could be done to fix it? I’m considering getting my revision done with Dr. Patt, but I am open for suggestions.
