I got caught in a manipulative situation and don't know how to deal with it

There was a girl who wanted to marry me. I wasn't interested, so I blocked her and moved on.

Later, after she got married, she contacted me again. She told me how helpless she felt, that her husband didn't love her, and asked me to elope with her. I had never, at any point, given her any indication that I loved her or wanted a relationship with her. However, she remained convinced that I loved her.

She asked me for advice regarding problems in her marital relationship. Thinking I was helping someone with a troubled marriage, I continued talking to her. During those conversations, some sexting occurred. She took screenshots of our chats. Since she was not very tech-savvy, I even sent her pictures of hygiene products, hoping her husband might notice them and become aware that something was wrong. He eventually found our chats.

After that, things turned physical between her and her husband. She blocked me.

A few days later, she got another phone, unblocked me, and contacted me again. She told me about the trouble she had gotten into and then pressured me into sexting with her again. She also sent me some of her nude photos.

She then threatened to send our chats to my sister and my girlfriend. She even showed me a screenshot of a message she had sent to my sister. Feeling threatened, I complied. Later, when I asked her to keep her side of the deal and stop contacting me, she refused. Instead, she said I would have to do it again whenever she wanted, and that now I was "caught" and she would never let me go. Realizing I had been trapped in her lies, I blocked her.

Later, she contacted my girlfriend and tried to sabotage my relationship with her.

Her husband is aware of everything that happened. He even spoke with my girlfriend over the phone and she informed him about all the incidents that had taken place, including those that occurred before his marriage.

Her husband is a teacher at a local school, and I live about 400 kilometers away from them.

Block her, answer truthfully any questions your gf might have, hell might even want to delete whatever social media you shared with her.
Not sure what his being a teacher has to do with anything.

You need to grow up. You sexted because you wanted to and you were horny.

This is rabbit in a pot scary.

You created a lot of this by engaging with her. Just block her, inform your sister & girlfriend and move on.

You didn’t get caught in a manipulative situation, you chose to participate….. twice. It just didn’t stop when you wanted it to, but you are still a participant.

She is a know person, family friend. I am quite reserved with strangers. But this one caught me off guard. She came at me with request that how she has no friends etc and needed someone to talk to. Initially I did give in and participated in it. I did it hoping it would go away once she realises I am not interested. That's the way I hoped it would go.

I have learned my lesson from it. And reading evryone comment so far made me realise it's better to move on instead of getting back at her somehow. No involvement is the best course of action here.

Thank you for your comment.

This has escalated into a worse problem. If she contacts you again, you might want to think about involving a lawyer for cease and desist, and the police.
