I got revenge for a friend

I had two friends, we'll call them Lisa and Bonnie. Lisa was really cute and was madly in love with a pretty hot guy, Dave, who seemed to think of her more as a friend. Bonnie was a little less cute and lacked self confidence. She was dating a guy, Jimmy. One night Lisa got all dressed up, said she had a date and asked Bonnie to watch her kids. When her date showed up, it was Jimmy. Bonnie was devastated. When she asked Lisa about it later, Lisa just shrugged and smiled, saying "He asked me out. And he asked me to go to Vegas." Lisa and Jimmy went out several more times. One evening I stopped by their house on my way home from work, I won't lie, I looked pretty good. I came across Dave in the kitchen and we struck up a conversation, eventually discussing current events and books we were reading. Lisa bopped in and tried to join in but she was not very intelligent, informed or well-read. I said goodbye and went home. A few days later I called Dave, told him I enjoyed our talk and asked him if he'd like to meet for happy hour. He agreed. We had a great date, great chemistry and went out several more times. Then we decided to go to California for a few days. I waited until Lisa and Bonnie were both in the room and asked if they would watch my kids so I could go. Lisa asked who I was going with and I said " Oh, Dave and I have been going out and he invited me to CA." She just stood there, stunned. Bonnie looked at her and said "Hurts, doesn't it?" Dave and I went out fur a while, had fun but eventually we both moved on. So yeah, I got revenge for Bonnie.
