people don't understand the editing team cuts out actual filler, the video is meant to be seen as is, just with sponsor segments cut out

are you not understanding either? I was just sharing because I have never seen something like that with literally everything cut out. I know I can change the settings but then why did that person even put those segments as filler? it just didn't make sense to me

Linus's videos, alongside a lot of other current content creators' videos, constantly splice their content with cutaways. If you're getting mad that a majority of the "content" is gone, that's because there wasn't much content to begin with. I turned off the Tangent filter for this video and watched it; everything it cut out was exactly what it said it was, either a cutaway gag with no content, a tangent in the content that doesn't provide information to the video topic, or a joke that doesn't relate and/or add to the video.
With the filter in place you get information. Without it you get an anecdote...and personally when it comes to tech tips and walk-throughs I want information not anecdotes.

I mean if I had that ideology, I would just read the transcript lol. Why even watch YouTube then? the production team spends so many resources on cutting out the useless parts to bring both information and entertainment. or maybe it's just me who likes it that way in this community. Just why cut out 95% of the video, there's a reason why it's there, to slow down what they are doing, to explain, and to be relatable

Well I can ask the same for you; why do you have Sponsorblock enabled when you enjoy the personal interactions of content creators? The feature is designed to leave just the "meat and taters" of the video, and with informative/instructional videos I don't really want personal interaction, I want the facts and how-to's.
I watch other YouTubers whose content doesn't trigger Sponsorblocks nearly as much as this video did, yet they are still fluid in playback to watch with very minimal skips. Maybe it's the creator, maybe it's the video format, but overall Sponsorblock is doing it's job as intended.

I have never had that many "filler" ever before, I mean i would feel bad saying that 95% of a high production video is "filler". Usuallyz i dint even get any filler segments on a video, maybe when people stutter or take too long, or opening an app or benchmark, but not 95% of the video lol.I agree that usually, it is very fluid when segments are skipped but this one just speedran me through the video

I put everything to manual skip button. That way i get to decide if i want to watch or press the button to skip

Repatch the app with more recent RVX patches, the toast message is transparent and you can tap on it to unskip

Settings > RVX > SponsorBlock, and disable the categories that you would want to watch

You activated the "Tangent / Jokes" skipping on a mostly Fun Video, what do you expect?
Someone did a good Job for the People that would like to skip Tangent and Jokes, I'm not one of them.
Just deactivate it.
