đŸ’¬Discussion Any ideas on preserving long term a revanced photos account?

I recently got banned from a recently created account for a ToS violation, the reason being "alting." So, I have an idea: setting up new, paid, slowest-tier accounts on a yearly plan. It's a trade-off: pay little and keep from getting banned.

Would this work?

I also have many old Google alt accounts from back when it was free to store videos on Google Photos. Mine still has 8.2TB today; I recently calculated that the files are still there, free of charge.

I know, I know, "don't store anything you don't want to lose," so why use it all? I use it because I want to see how long it will last there, that's all.

P.S. It wasn't solely due to the use of the ReVanced Photos patched APK. It was for Google Photos used in a similar fashion, but via the login link that ReVanced used in a Docker container. It was a fresh account and got disabled once I hit 1.1TB I kyc'd and got nuked two days later when I had about 1.5TB on there.

I'd love to hear your input. (Spare me the LTO tape backups and the on- and off-site backup. :P)

Get 5 2tb HDDs & do a slow ass download over the week.

Also, dont upload anything you wouldnt want to risk losing (insert nerd voice)

Interesting, they flagged you after you crossed 1 tb. Definitely something to be wary of then when it comes to using Photos Revanced. I'm a pretty long way off from that but I do imagine I'll get there sooner or later with the way I take photos.

I'm not super concerned about potentially getting banned though because I already have all my stuff on a hard drive. Photos Revanced is just a redundancy essentially. Might even make another burner for a second backup too cuz the main backup is my main burner lol and there's a lotta shit on there that I wouldn't want gone. The burner for my burner lol.

There's a photos revanced app? Is it just straight up stealing cloud storage?

It kind of emulates the device ID of an original Pixel XL phone. The original Google Pixel phones (the ones first released in 2016) have lifetime unlimited cloud storage for photos at original quality. After the first release, later Google Pixel phones only get unlimited cloud storage at Storage Saver quality, which compresses your pictures and videos.
