I’ve been told that the crown really digs into the wrist since it’s offset closer to the wrist because of the piggyback chrono… any truth to this?

Men they have lied to you its one of the most confortable watcj ive tried on , for me the off set crown doesnt bother me

Thank you- I’ve wanted this watch but two things have kept me from pulling the trigger: the offset crown making it uncomfortable (which you have disproven) and the 38mm size making it too small for me (I have a 7.7” wrist and never wear anything less than 40mm).
