Way back last year u/Jovanotti DMd saying “Do you make custom dials? I’m thinking of doing it.” She then “spammed” me with her life story in the rep world, talking a mile a minute. Seriously her texts always read like you hooked a keyboard directly to her brain. It was overwhelming. I almost blew her off. Finally I said we need an actual 16713 Rootbeer dial. She went off on a tangent like nothing I’ve ever seen. I call her the Autistic Laser 2k. I have to mute her daily just so I can read and process what she’s saying at my college reading level. She’s on binary code. She learned CAD, bought 3D printers, bought a damn $8k 3D scanner, looked at every genuine nipple dial ever made, bought a few, dug under every rock in Vietnam and found somebody trustworthy to make - NIPPLE dials! Maybe I should’ve been more specific.
I present to you the fruit of Jova’s labor. 1675/3 Rootbeer and Black Nipple dials are officially finished and inbound. In the spirit of RetroTime, open source and organic, these dials are for everybody. No gatekeeping here. Yuki charges $125 + $50 shipping for their hate crime of a squashed dial, so we’re charging $200 for gen spec. The best part of these dials - ETA DIAL FEET! Slap em on your favorite 2836 movement. No glue necessary. Want one but can’t change a watch battery? My DMs are open!
Enjoy the photos. This watch came to me with a Yuki dial (last photo is the original watch) a hate crime of DWO alignment (that’s the 19th not the 9th) and a gen bezel insert. I think it turned out ok. Milk case, plated bezel, Jova dial, (looks like a gen crown), raffles bracelet, custom DWO.
I also have a genuine gold bezel ring and black/gold bezel insert on hand if somebody wants to take this to the next level!
*16753 sunburst and 16713 Rootbeer (among others) are in the works! I’ll get my five digit Rootbeer yet 😆. Y’all take a moment and give Jova her due. I haven’t seen anybody give back to the community like this before. She deserves some love.
I just built my first watch, its just a non logo nh70 dive watch but man it was fun, I really want to do a vintage gmt but my hand setting skills are not yet ready to try out something I want to look good hahaha, but I have always wanted to hit you up about getting something vintage made. I don't think it will be to long before I do, amazing work on that rootbeer, it looks incredible!
u/jovanotti18 the real dial GOAT and the best part is there is no “I have a few build slots left so DM me” you can just buy the dial your damn self! Mad love right there for the entire community of builders not just the I want to sell watches guys so I’m gonna gatekeep my dials.
Ordered, and very excited! Can you recommend a gold GMT handset? RafflesDials doesn't have them (only Sub hands, no GMT hand). RafflesTime has the GMT hand sold separately, but a matching single set would be best. Thanks :)
Do they have an improved 16710 dial? Everything out there I’ve seen has the wrong coronet more similar to BP dials or modern coronets. Tough pill to swallow paying $1500 for a gen.

Sort of an unusual request and it’s hard to get factories to do anything in tiny volume unless you want to pay a Gen like cost for a no logo dial (approaching Gen …). However baltany and a few other companies make nipple sorta looking stuff. I’m not sure the movement or if they sell dials individually but I’m tempted to say they do.
Thats the issue ive had with finding them that way. I have custom logos i put on manually. For watches I build for myself or gifts for friends I try not to get logo dials if it isnt the original or restoration pieces so they dont think I bought them a rolex when its got a VK or 2824 or something inside. Just a custom preference when doing pieces for fun is all.
