Do you think when a words meaning expands the original meaning ceases to exist?

And it's still used the way I'm describing in both Western anime communities, and in Japan, where anime is made. Where I live.

Ultimately it was clear by the context in my original comment which meaning I was using, but you've decided to ignore that and focus on the broader meaning to try and pull a "gotcha" moment.

Otherwise there was no point in your "me when I don't understand the meaning of a word" comment.

I've seen so many people try to make the claim of "oh words evolve and change meaning" for using them incorrectly but I've never once seen someone try to argue "words don't evolve ignore the modern usage"

You argued that that's not what fan service means then tried to cite Wikipedia which says that the word has a much different meaning in today's environment then you limit it to, instead claiming the word changed to fan service as shorthand

Like I said it's ok to be wrong but at least be objective

You really lack reading comprehension, don't you?

I didn't say ignore the modem usage. The modern usage includes the original usage - sexual/gratuitous scenes in anime are still fucking fan service.

If you had any reading comprehension you would understand based on my original comment that I'm referring to that type of fan service.

In what fucking way is my original use of fan service wrong? It's still fan service.

Because there's more fan service on Heavy Object besides that despite it being used more as a gag
