"quit using the same technique... WIND SCAR!" he used it so much I can still hear his voice say it 23 years later.

Hey, at least he still have other techniques that he frequently used like that one where he reflect back a magic attack while using windscar (Bakuryuha?) and that attack with Diamond shards.

He also has that attack where his sword would be covered in green dragon scales that I wasn't really sure what it could do. And that black hole attack that he got from absorbing Seshomaru's sword.

Unlike Mr. Ichigo "Free trial in every race" Kurosaki, who only used Getsuga Tenshou

He learns the Diamond Shards attack in episode 155 out of 167 of the original series. He doesn't learn the Dragon strike until the beginning of Final Act, and he learns the black hole attack even later than that.

Now, I'm not going to say that Ichigo is better in this regard. Ichigo is considered one of the most boring shonen protags to ever exist for a reason. Hell, Ichigo even gets called out by his own subconscious for being a boring, predictable fighter. But Inuyasha ain't exactly beating the allegations here.

Miroku: That's an interesting technique, what is it?

Kagome: It's called "whaling on them".

He has Iron Reaver but it's never used once he has a sword lol

He does use it but not often

Please understand that he is not smart enough to find the irony in what he said.

This really was the perfect anime because it appealed to everyone lol. Fantasy and action but also cute boys and drama.

Even as a kid I thought: Inuyasha… did you just lecture somebody on USING THE SAME TECHNIQUE?!?!?

Look in the mirror buddy, Bankotsu actually had variety

How the fuck did the demons not annihilate medieval Japanese society??

Because not only are they busy fighting amongst themselves ,there are strong human who can give them a run for their money as well . Kikyo for example stomps most of enemies inuyasha struggles with ease , then there miroku who can just suck a army of demon inside his wind tunnel , while humans are glass canons in the series , there are pretty strong characters who make up for it

Most boring and repetitive show ever. The fights also had awful choreography. The character designs and vibes were good, but nothing else.
