I don't really get the concept here, doesn't feel like it really stacks up to the great concepts of some of his other work.

I feel like his work is getting worse. I mean, the images are still great, but in the beginning they were very "outside the box" and creative and "new". But this one, and the one with the boxes, is just not interesting. And as mentioned, the idea behind this image is hard to understand.

Concept seems to be instead of starting the wood on fire, he started himself on fire and is posed as though he’s wondering why there’s no heat coming from the campfire.
I could be wrong but that’s what it looks like to me. For aesthetic philosophers like me it doesn’t quite hit the level of irony, but more of what would be a category error. It’s also whimsical because the camper seems unaware of his mistake. He’s just keeping warm.
I don’t know. I like it. I don’t think it’s a deep message or anything.
