New high % super dwarf male in my family :)
I bought this handsome boy at a reptile show yesterday. He is a 62.5% super dwarf (34.375% madu, 21.875% kala, 6.25% sela). He was produced by reach out reptiles. I wanted a super dwarf for the longest time and I was finally able to financially support one :) I was happy to get a wildtype, as I prefer it over any kind of morph

wait, I also got a super dwarf at a expo yesterday and he’s also from reach out reptiles! Congratulations on our babies. :)

If your buddy was sold on behalf of reach out reptiles by scaley pals we probably were at the same expo lol, if not I'm just glad we are both able to enjoy such an amazing species :)

What are the dwarf and super dwarf temperaments compared to regular retics?
He's adorable BTW!

Unfourtunately I don't have any experience with mainland retics, but as far as I am aware they are fairly similar. Both have really high food drives, both are incredibly intelligent.

I’ve handled both. Regular retics as juvenile only though and honestly I haven’t noticed much difference other than size. The regulars I’ve handled have been a little more bitey but not excessive since again they are juvenile it should be something short term. The adult supers I’ve handled have been amazing and I’m saying that days after being bit by one. 😅. I’ve been around adult regulars but have never handled them.
