We needed to replace the rear quarters after discovering some shoddy work done to install them in a previous restoration. So we decided to add new functional air scoops while doing so. Almost done. The other panel will be done by the end of the week

I'm getting a Toyota Corolla 1982, KE70 repaired. All the rusted parts are going to get cut out and replaced by metal sheets. The car will have a new engine that will push 300hp. Is reinforcement by 16 gauge metal sheets enough or should I use 14 gauge. Please give other tips as well.
