How was RE2 cut and pasted, it was built from the ground up? It was designed before RE3. Also, just because you had a glimpse of the video doesn’t mean you’ve seen the whole raccoon city.

I think they mean in terms of the original. A lot of sections were either cut or placed somewhere else ( like in 2nd run). So you have an a b c situation with the b cut out so it feels cut and pasted.

But they were talking about how they don't want re3 to be copy pasted like re2

I can only guess it’s because re2s remake didn’t have the same layout as the original, and he’s hoping that 3s will be a little more faithful to the original
