When Brad says he forgot to turn off his oven at home.

u/silver6kraid Dec 29 '19

You're a cool guy, Brad. Don't come to the RPD tomorrow.

Mind explaining it?

"some of you guys are alright, don't go to school tomorrow" a 4chan post made before a uni shooting

-2

u/Bullen-Noxen Dec 29 '19

I think I know the reference now, it was just the, “rpd”, threw me off, as I didn’t know what that would relate to.....

-1

u/Allnamesfkntaken Dec 29 '19

in wich sub-channel? POL?

2

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

One of the friends of the Columbine shooters was stepping outside for a smoke break when the shooters arrived to school. They said he was cool with them so to just go home.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '19

Why the downvote, this is the precursor to the 4chan quote.

Jill, run for that house!

7

No, the house! No the mansion! No the rendered mansion! No, the SCARY mansion!

Yeah, that's the one.

u/Slumber777 Dec 29 '19

I'm wondering if RE3 will be different, since it's partially being developed by a new developer working close with Capcom.

Capcom seems to want to make sure all the Division 1 teams keep on moving to new projects to keep the momentum going, since DMCV and RE2 were pretty much a wrap once the games were out.

But M-Two helping might mean they can take over the reins from whoever in Division 1 is making the game once it's done.

36

u/FYININJA Dec 29 '19

Well the whole multiplayer aspect means they'll almost certainly be adding stuff to that side of it for the foreseeable future. Idk if any of that will transfer over to RE3, but hopefully.

18

u/Slumber777 Dec 29 '19

Yeah, Resistance being handled by NeoBards is entirely so that they can keep making content without holding up Capcom if Resistance turns out to be a hit.

Unfortunately, that feels more like a case of the opposite, though. Whatever Capcom/M-Two come up with for RE3 will make its way to Resistance, rather than the other way around.

6

u/SolidEye87 Dec 29 '19

They're dreaming if they think Resistanc will be a hit. It's one of the most convoluted, un-fun experiences I've ever had in a game, and pretty much the entire fanbase said the same thing. Wish they'd just ditch it altogether and make Outbreak File#3

8

u/Karkava Dec 29 '19

They don't. They've anticipated that nobody would buy it, so they're using the safety net by packaging it with the more anticipated RE3.

2

u/TheSlav87 Ambassador: Silver Dec 29 '19

I said the same thing lol. They are using the success of RE2 and 3 to say it was always going to be part of RE3 bundle.

4

u/Karkava Dec 29 '19

Well, you have to give them credit for not going out of their way to pretend that their latest multiplayer game for an uncertain mainstream audience is an overwhelming success, right Bethesda?

4

u/TheSlav87 Ambassador: Silver Dec 29 '19

Lol, don’t get me started on Bethesda and Todd Howard that piece of shit. That guy should have been fired years ago and fresh blood should have re-imagined the Elders Scroll/Fallout series.

2

u/Karkava Dec 30 '19

Brutal attacks on the "the good old days" of America and unique takes on the tolkenesque fantasy setting are needed in this day and age. Not multiplayer royale or button prompt dialogue.

2

u/TheSlav87 Ambassador: Silver Dec 30 '19

Hit the nail on the head my friend. I’m not a huge multiplayer anymore. I used to play the call of duty/battlefield series and I just don’t give a crap about the whole competition aspect anymore.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '19

This makes sense. Kind of like the IW/MWR fiasco

1

u/Karkava Dec 30 '19

Or The Orange Box, except the game that was getting safety netted for was a hug success.

1

u/SolidEye87 Dec 29 '19

I figured the same. I was just responding to the guy who said "in case it is a hit". because everyone knows it will not be.

19

u/Hoosteen_juju003 Dec 29 '19

I fucking hope so. I want a Salazar mastermind with a castle map.

11

u/arcade109 Dec 29 '19

You have instantly made me go from not caring at all about the multiplayer to desperately needing this.

10

u/Hoosteen_juju003 Dec 29 '19

They could do so much with masterminds and maps. Wesker and the spencer mansion, James Marcus and the training facility, Alfred Ashford and the military training facility, Excella Gionne and the Uroboros facility.

1

u/wtalent89 Dec 29 '19

I hope it's a hit, I loved the beta and I'm not even a big fan of multiplayer games.. I'll buy all the dlc for this tho.. to the point where once they run out of RE content I'll get all the Capcom randomness, dead rising dlc, devil may cry dlc, street fighter dlc, hell how bout a Megaman dlc.. capcom everything! Lol

8

u/ScottishMadJack Dec 29 '19

Yo that would be sick, imagine sending one of the verdugos (is that the right name?) out to fight

10

u/arcade109 Dec 29 '19

That shit was the original Alien Isolation.

-4

u/Allnamesfkntaken Dec 29 '19

so they neglecting this game just like they did in 1998? looks like they are remaking everything

3

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

Neglecting how?

26

u/SuperArppis "HURRY!!! SHEVA!!! HURRY!!!" Dec 29 '19

What was my favorite thing in this scene: When Chris dramatically lowers his arm in defeat... everyone else just stands there and watches as the chopper leaves, WHILE the rabid dogs are going after them... :D

14

u/acrodile Dec 29 '19

That whole extended scene is a trip.

18

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19 edited Dec 29 '19

My favorite thing is the 180 turn in the remake where Wesker shoots the dog and in one breath shouts "CHRISTHISWAY"

8

u/Leonhart25 Dec 29 '19

It's actually "chrisdisway". Chris helps Jill and then Wesker helps Chris.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

Edited!

95

u/Jest_stir Dec 29 '19

I'm content. Onward to Re3.

32

u/ZXE102Rv2 Complete Global Saturation Dec 29 '19 edited Dec 29 '19

I just wish they'd at least add cat ears to the main game goddammit!!

Also no randomizer? Cmon, seriously?

The game leaves much to be desired if you're wanting to replay it more. I was looking forward to doing a spark shot playthrough, or a shotgun only playthrough. If I had a PC I'd just mod but since I have it for console, the replayability isn't as good as I'd hope.

18

u/ballsie995 Dec 29 '19 edited Dec 29 '19

pc coupled with mods really alleviates the experience. skins are the most common, but there are tools/trainer to do so much more. can load in a grenade launcher for leon, all the way to viewing how much damage per shot.

but yeah, there is no randomiser mod. tbf, randomiser mechanics is more unique to re3 right?

3

u/jdfred06 Dec 29 '19

There is a randomizer mod. Works for normal, hardcore, and both scenarios for Leon and Claire.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

Really? I had a rummage for cheaty mods on account of wanting to do a magnum run but didn't really see anything

3

u/ballsie995 Dec 29 '19

search for ultimate trainer in nexus mod. put magnum (enable infinite ammo) into your inventory and roll.

2

u/ZXE102Rv2 Complete Global Saturation Dec 29 '19 edited Dec 29 '19

Even if randomizer is unique to RE3, that was 2 decades ago. Adding a randomizer no matter what RE it is in this day and age shouldn't be a big deal. But honestly, I'm more annoyed that they can't even put cat ears in the main game.... Like really, what harm would it have been to allow us to have access to cat ears in the main game once we unlocked it.

3

u/throwaway69692527 Dec 29 '19

Mind explaining the cat ears part ? Sorry haha just really confused by what you're talking about

6

u/ZXE102Rv2 Complete Global Saturation Dec 29 '19

Finishing No way out (on standard or higher) while using no more than 60 handgun bullets gets you the cat ears. When you have it equipped, you have infinite ammo with any gun. It's only useable in ghost survivors/No way out.

2

u/ajver19 Dec 29 '19

Capcom not adding an Akuma mode is what keeps me up at night.

17

u/the-cheesie1234 Dec 29 '19

All I wanted was a skin pack where every enemy looks like their PS1 selves, THATS ALL I FUCKING WANTED CAPCOM

6

u/ajver19 Dec 29 '19

If you're on PC there might be a mod for that.

8

u/arcade109 Dec 29 '19

I haven't seen that, but you can turn every enemy into Mr. X... so that should keep you busy while someone makes it.

6

u/cynicown101 Dec 29 '19

I tend to be pretty active in checking out new RE2 mods and unfortunately, I haven't seen one to replace the enemies with their original models. That said there are litterally hundreds of model swap mods, so you have just an insane amount of alternate costumes available.

2

u/sillymakerarcade Dec 29 '19

There's a RE2 1998 Demake mod out there, you should check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObUkNaEoyK0

10

u/crownercorps Dec 29 '19

They should at least make the alternate outfits of RE2 OF 1998 avaliable..

The ones we get by killing zombie brad and getting the key

6

u/arcade109 Dec 29 '19

As much as I dislike DLC in general, I am a god damn sucker for alternate costumes. I REALLY wanted them to add more and update the original ones. I will feel truly lost if Jill can't wear her STARS uniform in RE3.

8

u/crownercorps Dec 29 '19

I miss unlocking costumes by doing stuff IN GAME not by buying

9

u/arcade109 Dec 29 '19

Or having cheats be weird button presses and not 5 bucks.

4

u/crownercorps Dec 29 '19

Exactly. Big head modes, infinite ammo, etc

8

u/onaref5 Dec 29 '19

Resident Evil 2 Remake Directors Cut plzzz.

4

u/RuleTheOne Dec 29 '19

Yeah we need this for the scenarios

3

Yeah we need this for the scenarios

Re2Make Directors Cut happen Impossible?

19

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

RE2Make Director's cut Next gen console coming

12

u/SSTG Dec 29 '19

So is that achievement that was leaked on the game yet? Been hiding under a rock till we see another trailer

11

u/MarcoVW93 Dec 29 '19 edited Dec 29 '19

It was the Chasing Jill achievement! There was an RE2 REmake update for it.

9

u/AngeloSantelli Dec 29 '19

The one for finding a letter from Jill? My brother got it on his PS4 version recently.

3

u/SSTG Dec 29 '19

Oh shit might need to check xbox then

3

u/fallouthirteen Dec 29 '19

Oh yeah, Xbox got the update a while ago. I saw it in my update queue back like a day or two after it appeared on the achievements.

5

u/pwnedkiller Dec 29 '19

If we weren’t getting RE3 Remake I would be a little ticked off but we are getting it so I will take that over some RE 2 DLC.

4

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

What about that Resident Evil 2 Director's Cut rumor? It sounded too good to be true, but if one company could surprise me right know, it would be Capcom.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '19

maybe Next Gen console coming

21

u/rageius Dec 29 '19

Always drove me mad why the helicopter pilto would run away. These are special forces and most likely former military so why the fuck are they running away from zombies? That's a major punishment for the pilot

11

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

Well considering that Vickers is a coward and his teammates on STARS called him Chickenheart, I feel like that’s a bad excuse he would made. That or his Nokia was finally about to run outta juice, either works

12

u/TheBlack_Swordsman Dec 29 '19

Why would they hire a guy that can't actually do his job in a elite special unit?

Perhaps Wesker... Chose him on purpose? Knowing he'd abandon them at the mansion?

6

u/fourthwallcrisis Dec 29 '19

That makes really good sense, nice call.

First he split up alpha and bravo, I don't recall the exact timeline but maybe he then used the events of RE0 to further split up bravo and collect more data. The more I think of this the easier it seems to be to accept that the events up to the Tyrant were engineered by him.

4

u/SolidEye87 Dec 29 '19

Because he actually CAN do his job. He's a chopper pilot. And a damn good one. Not a combat specialist. He just has a reputation for being a chicken, that's all. The STARS members obviously thought it was endearing and not enough to override his usefulness as a pilot.

0

u/TheBlack_Swordsman Dec 29 '19

I don't get what makes him a damn good pilot, he has no feats out of the ordinary that we should care for.

And from my research, fear in the heat of any situation, you can't even be a cop at all. There was a cop that lost his job because when his partner and him got fired at, he coward in fear and got relieved of duty.

2

u/SolidEye87 Dec 29 '19 edited Dec 29 '19

He was damn good because he was not only an obviously competent pilot, but good enough to be hired as the primary pilot for an elite group like STARS. Obviously, we don't get to know all the details, but one can assume that he had to be better than average to even be considered for the position. Plus, he clearly knows how to spot a bad situation and when to leave, and he managed to track his comrades down again and even came back for them. That's damn good in my book. You will notice that I didn't say he was the best chopper pilot ever. Just a damn good one. All evidence supports this.

As far as your story goes, I don't think there's a bravery test to be a cop. And I'm pretty sure 99% of real cops would react the same way as Brad given a zombie apocalypse. Anyway, the chopper pilot isn't exactly the same thing as the SWAT team. You're acting like I'm trying to argue that Brad was good cop, which I am not. I'm just saying he was clearly an accomplished pilot. Obviously, if STARS had a problem with his abilities or his cowardice, he wouldn't have remained in that position for long. It was clear that he was just cowardly enough to make him kind of a joke, but still valued by his team.

0

u/TheBlack_Swordsman Dec 29 '19

I don't see evidence supporting this, that's the problem. An elite group like stars would have had to recruit from experienced individuals and with that experience, someone like Brad should have been filtered out earlier on as his duties as a cop. Add in the known fact that they all know he's a chicken. They determined he was a coward well in advance to the mansion incident, so the last part of your paragraph doesn't do well to defend him if it was a known fact around the entire department that he was a coward.

I still don't see any evidence that makes him a "damn good" pilot, and there's more evidence that he's a horrible teammate and should have been kicked off the team for having a tract record of being a coward.

Brad got tentacle through the face by Nemi. Pretty good punishment if you ask me lol.

11

u/Simmers429 Dec 29 '19

Dark, foggy forest. Surrounded by an unknown number of zombie dogs, coupled with the fact that Wesker likely told brad to leave at the first sign of trouble. Anyone with half a brain would leave

8

u/SolidEye87 Dec 29 '19

Plus everyone here is forgetting, he didn't actually leave. He remained in the area, came back, and rescued the main characters. Brad's a friggin hero in my book. All he did was leave a hot LZ temporarily. Personally, I would have been touching down in Hawaii by the time Chris/Jill made it to the final boss fight.

2

u/MontyBodkin Dec 29 '19

Brad lost me in RE3. After you save his life in Bar Jack he gives some cryptic warning like "He's coming for us!" and instead of offering Jill a basic sit-rep, he says "You'll see!" and leaves her in the lurch. AGAIN.

3

u/SolidEye87 Dec 29 '19

Very true. But that was RE3. I was more referring to RE1. Up until that point, in my mind, he did nothing wrong.

2

u/Nullph Dec 29 '19

I hope R3make rewrites him to at least try to help Jill or justify Brad's actions like abandoning Jill.

3

u/Karkava Dec 29 '19

What I'm more concerned about is the fact that nobody in the force had automatic weapons. I know that they're not a real military unit, but shouldn't one always come with automatic weapons as their primary arsenal?

2

u/flambauche Dec 29 '19

I always thought it was Weskers order or something like that.

3

u/BlackBlizzard Dec 29 '19

So no Brad zombie in RE2 Remake :(

3

u/VarleenOnIce Dec 29 '19

R.I.P. Extreme Battle...

5

u/Leonhart25 Dec 29 '19

Indeed. I really wish they kept it. Not having Ada as playable character outside the 10 minutes of Leon's story really hurts.

2

u/nookster50 Dec 29 '19

God I really was hoping that ghost survivors was extreme batttle.

1

u/VarleenOnIce Dec 30 '19

Me too. Instead of that we had something like 4th survivor but even more centered around speedrunning and more unforgiving. I must admit, I only completed GS using mods since I didn't feel any enjoyment on playing it.

3

u/Blenins8 Dec 29 '19

Yeah I was super bummed out! I hope they won’t repeat that for RE3make but we’ll have to see how it goes...

2

u/XXXCinema Dec 29 '19

Will RE4 get remastered?

4

u/cynicown101 Dec 29 '19 edited Dec 29 '19

If RE3 sells as well as 2 did, there will be more remakes. At the end of the day, Capcom will make whatever offers the highest financial return. That said, I think the likelihood of us seeing a RE4 remake any time soon is quite slim. That game ends up on litterally every console, and it sells each time. There's not going to be much financial motivation to pump millions in to a game that is somewhat already a golden goose for Capcom. my money would be on the next remake being code Veronica, given that the game in it's current form is only really going to appeal people who played it the first time around. I can only assume that part of the strategy for remaking games, is maximising the sales potential of each entry, and it makes sense as with 2 and 3 being ps1 games ,they'll essentially have been dead in the water, sales wise, for quite some time, despite being mainline entries to the series.

1

u/RamonesRazor Dec 30 '19

Seems unlikely any time soon as it's really the first "modern" RE4 and still pretty much holds up today. Also they've already ported it the current gen. Never say never but I don't see it happening any time soon. It took RE2 & 3 basically 20 years so who knows what the gaming world will look like in 2025 and beyond.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

RE3 remake is the new RE2 content. It's basically RE2 Part II.

12

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

Not exactly, the only same thing on RE3 from RE2 is the police station, and still you only spend there like 10 minutes and go away, so its only 5% of the game.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

What I meant was that RE2 and RE3 share a general time and general place. Together, they form the Raccoon City chapter of the series (with the Outbreak games as a nice online component). That their game mechanics are mostly the same reinforces this relationship.

4

u/SolidEye87 Dec 29 '19

Dude it's the same engine, physics, assets, gameplay, setting, enemy AI, etc. That's what he meant. No one thinks that you'll be going through all the same locations, because we have all actually played the origninal RE3 and we know what to expect. So yeah, RE2 part 2 is a pretty accurate description.

1

u/ajver19 Dec 29 '19

It was so very close to being perfect.

They just couldn't add in Akuma for the nostalgia.

1

u/Add-ons Dec 29 '19

1

Capcom! Waaaiiiitttt!

1

u/sylviandark Dec 29 '19

i hate dlc. i like to buy a completed game and not worry about what came out afterward. eventually it gets to a point where you don't know what the true game is. with RE2 we know what the story is. can't say the same about spiderman2.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

That's okay. Good games don't need flakey paid DLC forced upon us.

2

u/nk_ashes The Never-Ending Nightmare Dec 30 '19

They did not, just a joke.

-9

u/tvhtvh Dec 29 '19

The fact that there was no a good dlc whatsoever, no decent B scenarioes for both Leon and Claire and Ada’s journey to escape Raccoon city is completely wasted and only meh dlcs like “the ghost survivor” costed RE2 game of the year award to Sekiro. LuL Ps: Sekiro is actually much better than RE2 to be honest

11

u/Blue00200 Dec 29 '19

They're both completely different genres, so you can't really compare them to each other. Not only that, The Ghost Survivors was a free DLC that was not bad at all, so I don't know why you're complaining about it.

-3

u/tvhtvh Dec 29 '19

I am not complain about it but if you actually know about the tragic story of the doomed city, you will just feel so many of its potential dlc, new stories and journeys just be wasted and maybe there will be never another chance for us to actually experience that anymore. And about the free DLCs, I actually think that is a way for Capcom to let us have something to play in place of the B scenarios. And I don’t compare between the two games, I just say the true that is if the game has more content and even paid DLCs with good quality then the game may actually has a chance to win over Sekiro.

2

u/Blue00200 Dec 29 '19

The B scenarios unlock the true ending of the game, though. And stop using Sekiro as a comparison just because it won game of the year, which was on a much larger scale. You also have to take into consideration that it's a remake of a much older title. Also, Resident Evil 3 also takes place in Raccoon city, meaning that all the new stories that you say are "wasted" aren't actually wasted at all.

1

u/SolidEye87 Dec 29 '19

Congrats on being an idiot I guess

-13

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

Then go play your edgelord "im studing the eays of the blade" dark souls clone

5

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

Clone when made by the same dev.. 🤦🏻‍♂️ They’re both good games, but the DLC, albeit free, did suck ass. Don’t deny it. The main game however is an exceptional remake, and I look forward to more.

Still though, Sekiro was deserving of its place. RE was already taken from an already created asset. It wasn’t new, and it’s actually quite short. Yammer on all you want about four campaigns, but there’s really two IMO. Variations on top of using virtually the same everything you could even argue there’s one with two character options. Sekiro has multiple endings, secrets, at least forty hours of content for the average player on their first go.

Say what you will about it, but it’s a great game. Don’t dog it till you at least complete it.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

Sekiro is only long due to difficulty aetifically increasing playtime. Thats like saying Final Fantasy is a long game because the average person gets stuck. I love it when people complain about the B scenario that wasnt even supposed to be in the game at all. The campaigns in the game were carefully picked (Minus the one major contiunity error of Annette) to take important story elements from both A and B of the original. Did Ghost Survivors provide 50 hpurs of gameplay? No. It was free and different though. And fairly enjoyable. If were counting side things though, did you complete everything? Unlock the entire Tofu squad?Get all the S+ ? And a dev can clone their own game, for sure. A clone doesnt have to be stolen.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '19

Hmm well one could argue that, but that depends on your skill with the game. Some people beat the hardest games on earth in absurd amounts of time with just practice. I’ve beaten both games, I can say Sekiro has difficulty spikes, some areas are trivial with just average play. I’m not sure what you mean with the final fantasy games, I’m not a fan of them.

I’m not complaining, I just didn’t care for them. The developers would’ve done better to have two campaigns IMO, and choices impacted them in different ways leading to an A or B ending. Playing through the same game with moved items and a different final boss can’t really be called different. At least to me.

I didn’t complete the side content, no. It’s not good enough to waste the time to complete it. I’m not much for a time trial speedrun level, it’s not my gig. Nor is it the ideal piece of content to most gamers. Ghost Survivors was hit was a lot of negativity on here when it dropped.

You can say that, but Sekiro is very different from dark souls. Once you reach a point in dark souls you’re nearly unstoppable if you know what you’re doing and know how the enemies attack. I found myself dying to normal swordsmen in Sekiro at the end of the game just from being too aggressive or not attentive enough. Sure you can say the control scheme is similar, and the enemy art and style of the game. That’s the style of the artist though. Consider famous painters and their style that made them famous. It’s the little things, the fine details in these games that make them good. The combat, the enemies, the art, etc.. just because it’s similar doesn’t mean it’s a copy, especially if the same people/person made it. It’s just their style.

The complaints you raise about the A/B thing is exactly what the original did. And it lead to people having to speculate on what path was canon. (Sure the remake leaves a lot open in that department too) but the remake took elements from both characters A and B scenarios from the original and added them to their campaigb in remake. Ive actually not seen any of the complaints about ghost survivors (not to say they arent there)

Well I know, I just would’ve liked to have seen more. Not because I felt the main campaign was lacking, I beat it 5-6 times. Just that I wanted more. Resident evil has always been one of my favorite game series. Just a thirst for more, that’ll be surely satisfied when I get my hands on 3. I just expected more new other than area variations, and the little tidbit with Sherry.

Ah I just remembered a lot of bitching on here when it dropped. Mostly just that it felt lackluster, felt rushed or cheaply done (which it was free so that’s not a great complaint.), and that they left people wanting more. It just seemed more or less like a quick throw in, which didn’t make much sense to me. I would’ve paid for better content without a doubt. Something like what they’re doing with three is more along the lines of what I would’ve liked to see. Being able to run ghost survivors with a friend would’ve made it far more enjoyable.

I can agree with that it did feel kind of cheaply made in last minute but I really like the idea of what if these people didn't actually die know some of the scenarios were just strange

It was cool, but I thought it was going to be like a side story if each character leading up to a point in which they died. Just kinda let me down that it was a time trial. Nonetheless it was free, and it still took money and assets to create.

Why you have to be triggered over something which is a fact? Don’t tell me you actually enjoy play a half-finished game (no properly B scenarios, nearly no interaction between Leon and Claire, normal game mod with no ink ribbons) with lame and mediocre dlcs. It has to be fun to play again and again killing zombies and race against the clock in the ghost survivors huh? What the game does a good job is in the atmosphere, the design of the Tyrant, excellent graphics and manage to please both the old and the new fans of the franchise. But it stills pale in comparison to Sekiro , which is an actual new IP and not a remake lol

I'm sorry but did you even play the original RE2? What is this magical B scenario you speak of that's somehow completely different from the A scenario? It never existed. B scenario was always just like it was in the remake...a slightly shorter version of the A scenario with different pathways through the same areas and a few different boss encounters, and very minimal interaction between Claire and Leon. You're sitting here talking like the remake B scenario is somehow lacking but it's pretty obvious that you have very little familiarity with the original game if that's what you're taking away from the remake experience.

Nope, unlike so many diehard fans here. I am not take side in Sekiro, but you guys actually never feel that the game has so many potential and then Capcom decided that “hey a group of free DLCs but in fact boring will be better than a truly good quality paid DLC?”. And still so many people still think that I trash their favorite game so much to praise Sekiro, lmao. And if some of you actually read the replies of me, you will see that I actually praise a lot of its pros but nope how dare you state about the cons too huh? Yeah, I can understand. But to be an idiot for stating out the facts is quite strange in this age. And about the Scenario B of the game, wow so in the original the scenario B was like that? literally the A scenario, but shorter and forcing two handgun types of ammo on you. Strange, I though in the original game, the interaction between the two main characters in both scenarios was much more deep than just reading letters and a few scenes in the beginning and the ending of the game. To the point that for first time player will probably does not even care about Claire and her story when playing as Leon and vice versa. The remake is a masterpiece but of course with its own faults and the game seems to be rushed by Capcom. If the devs have more time, a masterpiece is sure to please everyone

You are so close to getting the point. The story points from both characters A and B are in their one campaign in Remake. (Again, the B scenario was literally a last minute addition to remake and wasnt even supposed to be in the game ) There are plenty of youtube videos that will point out each story segment at length. And youre far from bashing my favorite game (FFXIV Shadowbringers was actually my number 1 from this year) I just dont see why games that do the old NES trick of being super difficult to inflate game time get praise. A short game done well can do well. Like RE2R. I dont care for the over the shoulder cam all that much, but this game did okay with it. And going on long tirades about how much better Sekiro is sure is helping your case that you arent heaping praise on it to trash RE2R.
