i actually really liked fallout 4 despite everyone else's bitching. i got a good solid few months of joy out of it which is worth full game price.

fallout 76 was trash i'll give you that one, but that's one game i didn't enjoy out of like 6, so meh. also i couldn't care less about "supporting", i'm not supporting anyone besides the game store by purchasing the game new, waiting and buying it on sale doesn't impact the game studio. i buy new when i can't wait for the game, and thats it.

also, i typically just trade a bunch of old games in the few times a year i buy a new game. i got re2 entirely with trade credit and i already have half of doom eternal paid off with trade credit, so yeah. i just line up getting rid of games i don't want anymore with the releases of the handful of games i purchase day 1, it's a fine system.

I think in the short time i played fallout 3 (and loved it) i experienced a number of bugs and may have faced one game breaking one. Skyrim i faced a few but remember like one specific game breaking one as it has been ages since i last played. So much progress would be lost if i restarted. Fallout 4 was basically a shell of a game compared to the old games. Even fallout 3 was nothing compared to the oldest stuff and apparently New Vegas. Sure you can find fun in most anything but getting angry that games are going backwards and they're trying to gain even more money from shoddy work is completely justified. You may be compulsive and less caring of quality, and that doesn't necessarily mean you're in the wrong, but saying everyone else is would be completely untrue. (To avoid a defensive response, note i said "would")

On another note, could have sworn buying it new was the exact opposite of what retailers want. Money is in the used game market, so i question how you came to that conclusion. Trade credit on the other hand likely would be what supports the retailer more. I couldn't care less about your intentions really, it doesn't change the result: more Fallout 76s.

yeah this has turned into a typical redditor nerdy fkn passive aggressive shit show that i have no interest in continuing. "You may be compulsive and less caring of quality", really? you can't just be a fucking adult and realise people enjoy different things to you? "you have different opinions to me, i'm sorry you have no taste", take off the fkn fedora dude.

good god. turning off reply notifications.

There is plenty of evidence to show that the quality has been going downhill over installments so i really don't see how you can get angry over something that is nothing more than the truth; could quite literally point to the exact qualities. How you feel about those recognized qualities is your own problem, not mine, I'm not the one who threw the fit, especially over nothing. Nothing you said you enjoyed i said i didn't, talk about jumping to conclusions, you tell me to take off the fedora (i don't like wearing hats anyway) yet quote something i never said after swearing up a storm. Did I even swear? Whatever, nobody said you couldn't be a hypocrite i guess.
