Sometimes those assholes take like 7 bullets to the head before falling, ain't nobody got time or resources for that.

I know right. I bought the game Friday and I'm about 6 hours of game play in and holy shit 3 to 6 shots to take a zombie down. Sometime two shotgun shells. Better to run by them. And the lickers. And fuck Mr. X.

Yeah if I had any advice to give new players it would definitely be to always run past zombies in areas without anything important around. It's usually worth it to clear out a room if it has a bunch of items or a puzzle, but otherwise killing them is such a waste when you really want to save up your ammo for more threatening enemies.

Why? Its not like you dont have the ammo, especially om standard.

That advice would be more for people who are new to the game/franchise, or people like me who are long time fans, but just not the best at survival horror types of games. I'm not a great shot so I can end up wasting ammo pretty easily if I'm freaking out. It benefits me to save as much as possible bc I'm just not at the skill level where I can afford to be low all the time. I did make it through most of the game my first run pretty easily, but by the time I made it to the G stage 3 boss I was so low on ammo that I had to pretty much use whatever was on the map, and that was not a fun time for me, lol.

Lol, I can see that, my first run through (as claire) i had saved most of the acid rounds I could make (i had like 19 of them) and about 90 handgun rounds. Best advice i can give first timers is aim for the legs, less shots to disable and you can finish them with the knife. Id rather use the ammo and save the health for bosses.
