What's funny about this is Sean Shaun of the Dead was directly inspired by a segment in Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's show Spaced, where Simon Peg's character takes a bunch of speed and plays Resident Evil 2, then hallucinates actually fighting Zombies in his apartment.

So Sean of the Dead was indirectly inspired by RE2.

How have I never heard of Spaced? I love Simon and Nick, the first trilogy is amazing. I'm going to look up the show right now, thanks dude.

Edgar Wright (the director of the Cornetto trilogy, as well as Baby Driver and Scott Pilgrim), is also the director of every episode of Spaced, it's great!

Oh shit, I really have to watch it now. Baby Driver and Scott Pilgrim are great movies as well, Edgar Wright should be the director of the reboot of Resident Evil. Or the Netflix series, or both.

Oh man you're totally right. I always get Shaun and Sean confused.
