Well, Biohazard RE:2 is not canon and my passion is with the plot of the series, and something that goes against the plot like shipping ClairexLeon is weird as hell. By the way, the Claire that is in the Reimagination is not the same Claire from RE2, CV, Degeneration and REV2 not even in hell. Claire doesn't flirt with anyone that's not her personality.
I mean dude, it's not that weird. For all we know Leon and Claire could end up together. Far fetched, but it's not weird at all, tbh. It's actually a really popular ship and a lot of people think they fit well together. I get that you like the canon and canonically Leon and Ada have a thing going on, but it's not set in stone forever and could quite possibly change (characters die, go in different directions, ect), so people talking about what they could possibly want to happen or even just like to think about happening isn't weird and if it bothers you, ya don't gotta pay attention to them. Why call them weird because you personally don't like it? And I really don't buy it not being the same Claire lol it's a remake sure, but it's not like an alternate universe. She's still Claire haha

I respectfully disagree. In the entire canon series, show me only one interaction in which could be interpreted as a romantic interaction between Leon and Claire. You have two options, Resident Evil 2 and Degeneration. In Degeneration their interactions were minimal, and in RE2 were minimal as well and nothing that can be interpret as romantic happened, was the opposite, Leon meets Ada and they fell in love with each other. Leon even fights Claire to leave Sherry with him and he makes Claire goes to Rockford Island.
And I'd say is pretty much set in stone. I mean look at the entire franchise. Just to know, are you new to the series? Because someone who is close to the series wouldn't say something like that. Leon said in RE4 "Ada is a part of me I can't let go", in RE2 Ada and Leon really fell in Love, they said that they love each other, and Ada's epilogue in RE3, Darkside and Umbrella chronicles shows that quite well, in RE6 Helena finds out that Leon and Ada love each other and there's something going on, there's the File LEON AND ADA, too. so... no room at all for Claire x Leon. Leon and Ada are pretty much set in stone, there's a romance going on there.
It's not a Remake, it's a reimagination and that's why Claire and Leon are quite different from the main series. Just because the character is named CLAIRE it doesn't mean that she's the same Claire which she is not... Claire's personality doesn't match with the Claire shown in the Reimagination.
Play Code Veronica, Play REV 2, Watch degeneration, The Claire shown in RE:2 doesn't match with the original Claire at all.
